The cleaning lady went into the room despite the Don't Disturb sign. I told the manager and he didn't see a big deal.
Staff was amazing, picture perfect view of lake como. I suggest renting an electric bike or a car if you plan on spending time in Bellagio or other parts of the lake after the hotel shuttle service stops.
Best view there is on Lake Como and the staff made you feel like family.
Charming, family run hotel several miles from the lake - the hotel provides a shuttle service to the harbor. The views from the hotel were very special. The food was excellent and plentiful. The rooms would benefit from some updating, but all was very clean. The proprietors were delightful people, so welcoming and helpful.
Everything was wonderful. The hotel is up the hill from the ferry stop in Bellagio. When we got off the ferry, we called the hotel and someone came to pick us up within 10 minutes. The hotel is simple, but very clean and comfortable with breathtaking views of the Lake. We liked being a bit removed from the shopping and restaurants by the water. We came for one night to relax and get away from the bustle of Milan. It is easy to get to the main drag with the shuttle provided by the hotel, or by taxi. We ate dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious, homemade and fresh. After a scrumptious dinner we sat on the terrace of the dining room watching and listening to a spectacular thunder storm!!!. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lake view and a private terrace. I would definitely return to Il Perla.

Here are some pros/cons: Pros: -Nice sized room, clean, comfortable bed -Restaurants in local area offer free rides -Hotel shuttle to Bellagio area for 1Euro/person/trip -Free internet (but did not work that well) -Nice, simple breakfast -Allows dogs for no charge Cons: -Cable didn't work well -Not in walking distance to sites Overall, nice for a two star but not luxurious
The hotel is located a few kilos from the town, up the hill. As the name suggests it has an amazing panoramic view of the lake at the point by Bellagio. Staff was very nice, Room was clean and well done. Not fancy but comfortable and nice. Breakfast was very good and can eat inside or outside on panoramic deck. Parking at hotel was OK. I would recommend this for good, clean and reasonable price.
