Excellent hotel

The staff was amazing, close to the airport and they set up transportation to and from the airport (for a reasonable fee). The food was great but very limited beverage options. They didn't serve beer and the wine options were bottom shelf.

We stayed there before and after a flight. Beautiful rooms with sea view. Very nice pool. There is a river that meets the sea, You can see baby crocodiles and while we were there, we spotted a shark. Staff are very friendly and hospitality. The owner actually came out to greet us. Great place to stay while exploring Belize.

The office is never open before or after tours, even though on the door it says 7-7. When we tracked them down through the security guard they were helpful. Says they clean room every two days but it was only cleaned once in 5 (when we asked) which is kind of terrible when you aren’t allowed to flush your toilet paper. Garbage adds up fast when you have to buy water. The restaurant is yummy and staff is very kind but the Menu is a little limited and very pricey because they know you can’t go anywhere else. The location is close to airport and water taxi and on the main land which makes it nice for tour prices, but nothing is walkable, no stores, no food, no entertainment. Also makes the place very quiet, which we loved. The pool is beautiful. The cabins are a great size and have a fridge but no microwave. No beach at all. I mean you can get kind of close to the water but not where you can get in it. Hammocks are fun to hang out in and do hold two. Tv is only you tube. WiFi is good. Tour guides will come pick you up and they are awesome and hotel helps you get things going with them. But every time you leave property will cost you at least $20.

Great location right on the water. Kayaks are available for use. Nice pool. Small but fine restaurant. Shared Kitchen was available. Some permanent motel-style rooms and several camping cottages.

Very nice rooms. It would have been nice to mention that you don't have any alcohol except wine to offer. Also, we would have enjoyed lounge chairs by the pool with cushions or something more comfortable and more shade. The restaurant food was excellent!!

We enjoyed our stay at Seaside Chateau both at the beginning of our trip and at the end. It is close to the airport and right on the water. We stayed in one of the cabanas. We definitely had the most private ones (Breadfruit). Some of the others were closer together and not as private. Ashley picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. He is awesome and very friendly. The entire staff really makes this place. They are so sweet and friendly! Although it was pretty windy when we were there, we were still able to use the kayaks and paddle down the river. Being that this place is outside of the city you either need to taxi to the city to eat or use the onsite restaurant. They also have a community kitchen you can use so you could bring your own food and make it there. We just ate at the restaurant the whole time, and the food was pretty good. Although a couple of dishes came out cold (that should have been hot). Also be aware they only have wine (no beer or alcoholic drinks) and it was $10US per glass. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I liked the privacy and quiet, clean atmosphere. The food options were limited on the property. Check in was OK. Our door lock didn't work but they did fix it. Otherwise good place to visit. Close to other places to visit. No alcohol is served on the property so bring your own.

Peaceful, nice grounds, beautiful pool area. Manatees in the river. Hated and secure

Very friendly staff, fun Outdoor restaurant with good local food. Kayaks were a bonus. Very clean - beautiful views. Not convenient for shopping. Take some food with you. They have kitchen for your use. It would be nice even if they sold a few supplies - but if you had a car it would be fine.

Secluded, great staff, good food. Bring bug spray!

Very friendly staff that really made you feel welcome. Nice community spaces where for instance iur family payed cards after a day of sightseeing. Little touches like having kyacks to use, and a great lookout platform to admire the ocean. They also did a great job helping arrange tours. A great family friendly quiet villa to lauch your adventures from.

Hi Thank you for reviewing us as we take all reviews in consideration when making improvements and policy changes. Am sorry the office assistant was not there to assist you when you needed but please note our front office hours are 8pm- 5pm daily as this is low season and we only had 2-5 rooms but was still open daily for those times. Room service is carried out every 2 days as per new covid protocols requiring less contact between guests and staff members. We take note of your houskeeping complaint and will speak to head of housekeeping to see if this did happen. You are correct to say that toilet paper is not allowed to be flushed due to our system. Please note also it is the same system and issue in the entire county of belize .Due to our country been below sea level and so the sewar systems need to be managed differently than in the rest of the world. The property is located 10 mins away by car from downtown Belize city and is in a secluded private area. The advantages of this is thats its quiet, safe, great views as it is directly on the river and sea, family frindly space, 5 acres so you are not jammed up in a small spot with other tourists. The cons are the restaurants are Not within walkin distance but we assist our guests in ordering take out . There is a another restaurant 2 mins away and they nightlife as well. While the sea is not swimmable as there are sea/river animals in there that we recommend you not come in contact with. But we have chairs on the beach where you sit and watch passing birds ,dolphins or stingrays. Beach volleyball is available or the kids can make sand castle. The Tv in the rooms can either watch Netflix(resort account) or Youtube. We thank you again for your insight into the property and hope to improve to make all clients happy and give them a great experience in Belize.
