Stayed for 2 nights as part of our Insight Tour of the Balkans. Our room was very nice, large room with a coffee machine and has a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. There was also a sofa and an armchair and a coffee table. The room overlooked the park (room 305) which was great as the locals were out and about enjoying the park. The hotel is located on the main shopping strip and there is a supermarker across the road. Included breakfast was excellent with lots of variety

holel have very nice entrance part and spa center. rooms for luxary colection should be much better. spa ceter is modern and staff work profesional. staff on reception is also profesional.lounge is on nice location on 7 floor but maybe need more offer of drinks.

Nice hotel, the room is a little bit small but o.k. The service is very good, fast and kind. There are no separate bads so if you are with a friend you have to sleep together in the same bad. The pool and the spa are great.

I'm not so familiar with reviews but these guys deserve it. Even if it's very late: I've been in this hotel in January!!! I spent only 2 nights here but I really enjoyed them. The hotel is so clean, comfortable, quiet and very well organized. Breakfast is excellent: a lot of choice, maybe too much! :D Staff is excellent: they are all polite, warm, accurate. My room was giant, I liked it. But, most of all, I must write one thing. I was there for a conference, held in the hotel. My girlfriend came with me but stayed in another hotel with our dog (this is not up to Metropol, it must say this; they didn't know). During our last evening she came to the hotel and we asked for a taxi, also for our dog. The bellboy did everything he could and even more, but all the taxidrivers refused to host our dog (a mid-size Australian sheppherd), even those who were informed during the phone call. After a while (half an hour or even more) we said thanks to the poor guy, well aware that he was really doing everything for us, calling a lot of taxis and even arguing with them! Thanks, really: you did your best and even more. But suddenly a colleague of him, who had already finished working and was ready to go home, noticed that something was wrong. He talked to us and to his colleague and then he offered to drive us to our destination with his own car. This angel is named Dorde: he was so nice with us and with our dog! He brought us to our destination and even refused to accept a tip. He didn't ask anything and was so friendly with us that we we'll never forget him and his lovely behaviour. I know it's late to write this review, shame on me. Anyway: I'll never forget this for the rest of my life. THANKS DORDE PERISICK! We'll never forget you!!!!

Stayed at Metropol at the very beginning and the very end of our trip. Great location, clean and beautifully furnished. But what really makes it stand out is the staff. Every single person we encountered was polite, nice and professional. We will return.

Special praise for the staff! They are real professionals, young, but they handle customers on a very experienced way. All the compliments to them and their leaders. Really great experience, charming place..

Stayed here a few times recently on business - and chose the property because of my loyalty card more than anything else. The hotel certainly has a lovely feel when you arrive, am not 100% sure that this is the absolute best location though. It is in a nice quiet spot with a park on one side - but I'd imagine if you were here as a tourist then you'd rather be in the historic centre with more restaurants. The check-in was very good except for the fact that one time a large group had just arrived and were blocking up the reception for everyone else... I found the rooms very pleasant - they were certainly finished to a high standard, although I felt a lack of light in the rooms generally. I was a little disappointed with the choice of food on offer, especially for room-service but also in the restaurant. Breakfast was much better but generally I think you'd hope for far more local specialities to show up in the menus - I love Balkan cuisine and remember being a little surprised at how little was offered. The prices are very high by local standards. The highlight has got to be the fitness and spa area. It is very well equipped and has a lovely feel.

We had a buffet meal at this hotel which was OK.But the staff seemed overwhelmed.Tea and coffee making was provided. The retro fitted shower screen seemed to spray water everywhere. WIFI was a bit slow,persistently..We had a fire alarm go off and evacuated the building to find it was a false alarm. That has apparently happened before. A photo session took up valuable space in the breakfast room this morning. inconveniencing everyone ,including waiting staff. There are access issues with the breakfast room.o Overall the hotel staff are trying, but it didn’t quite make it as a superior experience and it didn't measure up to a luxury hotel rating..

The hotel is located not far from the city center, a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is one of the best in the city in my opinion. Excellent breakfast, pool and gym as expected for a five-star hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.
