Peaceful getaway walking distance from Sasamat Lake, White Pine Beach, the ocean (Indian Arm) and multiple hiking trails. The cottage is perfect for two people who are looking to enjoy some time away from the big city, while still having high speed internet and a workstation if connection with the outside world is required.

Amenities include a private entrance, private deck, bbq and propane campfire. Inside there is a queen bed, couch, tv, workstation and limited kitchen. The kitchen includes a small fridge, microwave, sink, induction cooktop, coffee maker and kettle. The private bbq replaces a traditional oven.

We have an inflatable double kayak for use on the ocean or lake (lifejackets available). Lots of outdoor games and the peace and quiet only available off the beaten path.

Other local attractions include Belcarra Park, the Jug Island and Admiralty Point hiking trails (8 minute drive), Newport Village grocery shopping and restaurants (11 minute drive) and Rocky Point breweries, pier, ice cream and more (13 minute drive).
The cottage is heated and features a kitchenette and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a coffee maker, a desk, and a computer monitor.
