Great location, the hotel is right by Zaytouna bay and Beirut Souks- walking anywhere is quite accessible from here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great place to stay if traveling with kids. The service was great throughout our stay. From the front desk, to the Concierge, Pool area, Housekeeping and F&B, everyone was helpful and friendly. They have a delicious and varied breakfast. Definitely recommend staying here.
I am not going to make a description of this hotel, the website is very good in giving all details about the luxury of this hotel. My intention in writing this review is to praise the whole staff : 1.- In the Mosaïc Restaurant, Hadi and Naji are the excellent chefs, and what impressed me most is Allam, so attentive, so helpful and so friendly and sociable with all guests, he masters the whole situation running from one table to the other.. 2.- In the Club Lounge, Roy is the very pleasant Manager who can rely on his whole staff : Mariam, Bianca, Hanine, Hussein, Mohamed, Ibrahim and Salah who are all excellent in welcoming the guests with a beautiful smile and serving very professionally. 3.- Anis, the Chef-Concierge can be proud of Fadi, Estelle and Edouard who know Lebanon by heart and give the best advice. 4.- Many thanks to Belinda for the cleanliness of the roonm and her presence on my floor, always ready to help and to the whole staff who changes every day the flowers (beautiful roses), the fruit plate and the sweets (Lebanese Biklawas). The owners and the Management of this hotel are really very generous, spoiling so nicely the guests 5.- Last but not least, Mrs Jessy, the Guest's 'relations Manager who surely deserve her place because of her kindness, her efficiency and her excellent knowledge, without forgetting to mention her colleague Diana. If I choose so often this five-stars hotel, it is simply because everything contributes to make my stays unforgettable.
First thing meeting you, is the friendly staff greeting and helping you upon arrival. Taking you to the clean and beautiful area of the check in, where again, very friendly staff is there to assist you. The rooms are very clean, toilets spotless, towels nice and soft, and an amazing bed. Safe your appetite for the breakfast in the morning, with a huge breakfast buffet with and amazing view over the sea. Quality of the food, fantastic. Definitely a place to come back to.
My last stay at the hotel was more than 10 years ago but the level of device and excellence food outlets still the same. Still has it charms as one of the best hotels in Lebanon with close access to Zaytona bay.
Phoenicia is part of Beirut history and one of the best hotels in MEA. The location is just perfect near Zaytuna bay and Beirut Souks and 10 min away from airport. I like the services, food and staff...special thanks to Nicole for her ultimate support. The only thing that annoyed me was the lighting fixture in rooms..they should consider adding lights as i heard same complain from my colleagues...
This is a very attractive hotel. Check in process was efficient. My room was nice and spacious - sadly the view out of the back of the hotel overlooks a construction site and a derelict building but this is obviously not something the hotel can do anything about! The breakfast, lunch and dinner is of a very high standard and offers lots of variety. The restaurant staff are very helpful and friendly. I ordered room service one evening and it was delivered quickly and of a good standard. Taxis are available outside the hotel 24 hours a day.
This is not a boutique hotel, it’s not your super modern hotel but it’s an old, traditionally decorated “grand” hotel. Functional rooms with a great mattress and pillows but above all impeccable service and an outstanding breakfast selection. I did not check the hotel restaurants but I have been told by some local friends that they are outstanding.
Stayed for 5 nights to explore Beirut and Lebanon. Great location just across road from marina and sea front. Good room with sea view. Great restaurants. Very informative and friendly staff. Has the style of slightly old school middle eastern palace.
Amazing staff, amazing location an exquisite service ... ladies and gentlemen welcome to the heart of Beirut Business leisure romantic or family gateway Phoenicia is your go to place when you are in beirut! Try to take the sea view a bit more more expensive compared to the city view but worth every penny The staff is very helpful , the food is amazing , the ambiance is great Won’t be my last time for sure
Amazing hotel with all services. The room was perfect, with lots of amenities and a great desk to work, I felt comfortable like home. The reception area is perhaps too big and a little inpersonal, but the rooms and the service make up for it. Breakfast is a dream come true.
