in spite it is not very competitive regarding the rates for UN , but it is really good. breakfast was nice but I would have loved a coffee machine instead of being served coffee internet connection was not so good but not bad
This is a comfortable hotel, there is nothing bad you can say about it. The rooms and the hotel in general are very clean, all the facilities in order, the staff are obliging and helpful. The breakfast is also a rich offering of local dishes. It is a spacious hotel with all kinds of amenities, including swimming pool, that makes your stay, whether on business or for leisure, very comfortable. Also, it has a very good location close to all. It might be too expensive for the local standards (I stayed here on a business trip).
everything a hotel has to have. good service, not horrendously expensive. breakfast was nice but I would have loved a coffee machine instead of being served coffee. it goes faster. I don't take a long time for breakfast and i finished before coffee came. I did not see juices but that could have been me rushing too much. great stay especially for business... will come back with a larger group
We had good stay in beirut and Rotana was a good choice. We will defiantly stay there again. We had a problem with the room type upon checking in and Paul solved it for us immediately. I realized some differences in the description of room features between Expedia and reality, so communicated this to the reception and they agreed this should be shared with their management and fixed. Other than that, all was smooth and nice specially with the cheerful welcoming Wafa from room service who made sure to greet us when a big smile everyday.
Considering the hotel rate compared to other hotels around, The hotel is of a moderate quality neither good nor bad it has its pros and its cons What's good about it : The room is fine seems new and clean, guess it was recently renovated, bed is comfy and cause it was high floor I got to see part of the sea not complete view cause it is obstructed by buildings Hotel location is good, a walking distance from the sea and also a walking distance to Beirut famous shopping street " Hamra " street Room service is quick also hotel staff are friendly What is bad about it : The internet is useless, something need to be done seriously, pages won't open trying to search the web or sending data was a real pain sometimes I had to sit on the ground behind the room door to get some connectivity to be able to send and reserve simple messages other wise go and spend the night doing work in the lobby The breakfast choices was limited in my opening also I wished if it has Lebanese food varieties Some bread types (toast) was definitely not fresh dry not eatable and some other backed stuff was under cooked (raw) from the inside (the corrosion and the french baguette Finally most of The tv channels has a static picture and some has no voice which is absurd
Everything at the hotel was great! I would recommend the hotel to other people. Although it is in the heart of Hamra, it is quite and relaxing. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
It was a short stay with family. The overall stay was very good, the room I stayed in needs renovation. Staff were friendly and caring , Breakkfast was very good . Will be visiting again in case rooms are renovated.
Although the Rotana provided a great breakfast and professional service, I find the rate expensive. The rooms were clean and a good size. The TV service was pretty awful - most channels had fuzzy pictures. The free wifi was almost useless - you constantly have to reconnect and on the upper floors you can barely download a website. Room service staff also had the habit of opening the door after only knocking briefly and hardly giving me time to answer. Overall it's a nice hotel, clean, good breakfast (but not much on the room service menu) and fine for a business trip. However I am sure there are places to stay with a lower rate and the same level of service.
very helpful staff, family atmosphere, I had a specific experience that I came without booking & the hotel almost full, one of the executive of sales Andreas my hero provided me a room within 15 mints. do not forget the location is the heart of the city near of every thing while u were in business or vacation.
This is review focused on customer service considering we ended up at their sister hotel Raouche Arjaan Rotana). The front desk did amazing job switching a situation gone wrong to a great experience. We prebooked the hotel and at arrival time, they had to inform us there was a mistake and they were overbooked for the first night. They swiftly explained how they will fix the situation - offered a better room in their sister facility w/ sea view, provided complimentary breakfast, gave us complimentary drinks while they communicate w/ other hotel (super fast), and provided transportation to the other hotel. Paul did an amazing job - the situation could NOT HAVE been handled in a better way. As for the lobby, definitely 5 start caliber.
