Four Seasons Hotel Beirut

We had a wonderful four days in Beirut and used the Four Seasons as our base on Zaitunay Bay in the downtown area. The hotel is what you would expect from the Four Seasons: comfortable, sophisticated and the service very attentive. The roof top bar has a hip vibe with great views of the city and the breakfast is a veritable feast. The hotel is ideally located near excellent shopping and lots of restaurants, and you can stroll on the Corniche with hundreds of locals out for their daily exercise. Having a meal at Al Falamenkah overlooking Raouche (the huge rocks at the of the corniche) is a must. The first rate National Museum is a ten minute drive, and nearby is Beit Beirut which gives you a history of the 17 year civil war that ended in 1989 - Café Sho is a cute cafe around the corner for a delicious lunch. Also on the Beirut to do list, is a visit to the Sursock Museum, with lunch in the cafe in the vibrant Germayzeh neighbourhood with lots of galleries is a must. We had the advantage of having friends organise our program which included two day trips to visit Baalbek in the Bekaa Valley, and the beautiful Shouf Cedar Reserve and Beit Eddine in the South. The concierge could easily organise a similar program with a car and driver. Security wasn’t an issue - we felt no tension at all in Beirut, as well as the rest of the country. I highly recommend a visit to this gem of a city on the Mediterranean.

I’ve been to several around the world as these are one of my favorite properties if not favorite. This property displays all of The same superior level touches you would expect including he rooms and grounds. Upon arrival you are greeted with kind faces and taken to your room where your checked in. Nice touch. The meeting staff is also excellent. On the disappointment side I would squarely place it on the breakfast and roof restaurant staff. The traditional level of FS engagement is just not there. The staff just seems passive and going thru the motions. Don’t get me wrong, they will go above and beyond and pushed but it just misses a hint of authenticity. Breakfast at $41 was not impressive. Took 10 minutes for a cup of coffee and room was basically empty. So in the end, still an amazing property with excellent pedigree and reputation. I may be totally wrong on this one but I the experience just felt a little off. Last note, I’ve stayed at Phoenician and it’s great, but this is still likely the best option.

every thing was perfect room , pool and staff the hotel surprised me with a birthday cake it was amazing best hotel in beirut , the only negative thing is the charge of the valet parking its expensive

The staff and hotel will supersede all your expectations. The room was very ergonomic, clean and spacious; the staff were very professional and went the extra mile to ensure all our requests were addressed in a very timely fashion; and the location of the hotel is perfect.

We have stayed with many Four Seasons around the world and the service is always excellent. The location is perfect with a nice sea view. You can walk to many tourist attractions near by and a souk for shopping. The Bar is beautiful and we spent every evening there. Our room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The patio is big with a nice seating so I could do my work overlooking all the yatches at the Marina. There are so many restaurant at the marina across the street. I will definitely stay here again. It is worth the money.

Four Seasons hotels in many countries of the world are typically properties with sprawling grounds having landscaped gardens, sporting and leisure facilities, etc. In this respect the Four Seasons Beirut is untypical. It is a tower block at the corner of 2 roads, one being along the Corniche or a bay, and the other leading to the artistically rebuilt and visibly upmarket city center area of Beirut, known simply as Downtown. But what the Four Seasons Beirut loses out on, on not having grounds, it more than makes up for it by its great location, its faultless hospitality, high standard of accommodation and services, and above all, by its extraordinarily courteous, ever helpful, very efficient and energetic and ever-smiling staff - one and all from the doorman at the front entrance to the lovely young ladies at the reception, to the waiting staff in the restaurants and bars, to the housekeeping and room service staff. Of course they all must have been carefully selected and well-trained, but still kudos to the hotel GM and other managers for being able to ensure a very high level of professionalism and hospitality from all employees

Beautiful hotel, large rooms, located right in front of Zaitunay Bay, walking distance to shopping and great restaurants. Staff was fluent in English and Spanish, very helpful booking private car service to nearby areas.

The Four Seasons is an amazing hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was impeccable. Always greeted with a smile as you return to the hotel. In room check in was a great way to start the experience

A wonderfull place, great service, generiousity, hospitality, friendly, in very good location, food are very tasty, nice atmosphere, for business or with friends or family it us the right place to stay

This is my first time in the Four Season Beirut and defiantly will not be the last. The location is perfect with Zaytona Bay Restaurants across the street and Aswaq Beirut ( outdoor shopping mall) & Solidier only about 5 min away. The level of service was superb and it was only one night stay but it was a very pleasant experience. Also, a number of amazing high end restaurants are literally behind the hotel, we tried Seray restaurant and it was amazing.
