Old hotel, the location in the city isn't bad but could definitely use renovation. No lounge. Got upgraded as per my platinum status but because of the age of the hotel the floor plan isn't great. Service was ok but nothing to remember.
Good location, fair price, clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff, not far from airport, very close to Solidere "down town", Zaitunay Bay where you will find many good restaurants. Very convenient for West Beirut visitors.
I stayed a week here and had a good, comfortable stay. The hotel is located slightly away from downtown, though the center of Beirut is reasonably small so I walked there from the hotel in 20-30 min. On the other hand the location of the hotel was good for visiting the Raouché rocks and the shoreline. My room was good, more spacious that I expected with a well-designed bathroom. I didn't eat at the hotel, so can't comment on that. All the service I did receive was excellent, the staff were super attentive. The gym is small, but has a good set of weights so I could do most of my routine. If you need to be in this part of Beirut (e.g. for business), then Four Points is a great choice.
This is a really good hotel and would’ve gotten five stars because the staff is great. They were super helpful, polite, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was because some of the facilities are a little old and need if upkeep. For example, the water temperature in the shower wasn’t consistent, a few outlets in my room didn’t work, and the gym needed a little cleaning up. That being said, this is probably one of the nicer hotels you’ll get in Beirut for the the amount you’d pay. I would definitely come here again the next time I’m in Beirut - much appreciation to the staff team for their hospitality!
The hotel was nice. Staff were very decent. The room was ok. The food was tasty but average with limited options unlike other Lebanese buffet. Meeting room was appropriate for small group and clean; however we had smelly AC issues maybe from the heater.
Excellent in everything! Very nice hotel with kind staff. So clean, cozy, big room & has a nice location near ABC mall. The Corniche is not farway so you can take a walk & enjoy the moment breathing fresh air & see peolpe having a good time.
Location is very nice just 2 minutes walk to the mall. The room was clean. The staff is very helpfull and nice. Bathroom and equipments very high quality. Only the problem was poor breakfast. The price is affordable when you compare with the other ones.
There's one word to describe the hotel - average. We had the SPG Preferred room on the 7th floor, which they said was their best available room. If this room was average, then I can only expect that the other rooms were below average, hence the "Poor" rating. The room looked old, it was dusty and the air was stuffy. The curtains had tiny holes in them and they didn't close properly (a nuisance as light would flood through). The airconditioning did not work at times. The promised "sea view" was not an accurate description for the view and should not have been advertised. The real view is one of buildings... if you look in between the buildings you will see the sea. The bathroom was cramped. The service at this hotel varies - from decent to bad. Decent at check-in. Particularly bad was the service at the breakfast area. On one morning nobody was there when we arrived. On another morning there was a group of them but they preferred to engage in casual banter rather than tend to customers. The staff seemed disinterested. The only one bright spark of the hotel is that it is walking distance to the ABC Mall however, there are other well-known hotels in the area that are nearby too and I would suggest looking at those. Overall, this hotel does not do justice to the international Four Points Sheraton brand.
I stayed during Christmas time. My stay at the hotel was perfect. The room, the service and the attention to guests. On 24th they put a yule log in the room for Christmas. I really appreciated. The room is big and everything is there. They also give you every day 4 bottles of water which is quite not common in hotels. As for the location, ABC mall is walking distance from the hotel.
I thought by buying into a 5* Sheraton Hotel I'd be guaranteed a certain standard of comfort and ambience. I was very mistaken. The hotel's locality is very poor....shabby run down area, you can't walk out and find nice restaurants or bars or nightlife. Only nice thing in walking distance is the ABC mall. The lobby was OK, the staff very pleasant and helpful, check-in was easy. Once you went up to the rooms though....the corridors were dark and dingy...and the rooms! Awful decor, with chairs covered in purple damask and white rexine, made of dark veneer wood...and all that on one chair. The room had a black wood cladding....on every surface just about...poor lighting, and floors made of stripes of black and pale wood. The bathroom....floor was dark grey swirly marble...brilliant to hide all dirt and stains which one could only assume were there or not...towels threadbare and worn, paint mottled and bubbling up in some places. The only restaurant I saw, side of lobby on ground floor was deserted, and food was terrible. Please check out the photos to see what you're buying into. I would avoid it at all costs.
