Four Points by Sheraton Le Verdun

There's one word to describe the hotel - average. We had the SPG Preferred room on the 7th floor, which they said was their best available room. If this room was average, then I can only expect that the other rooms were below average, hence the "Poor" rating. The room looked old, it was dusty and the air was stuffy. The curtains had tiny holes in them and they didn't close properly (a nuisance as light would flood through). The airconditioning did not work at times. The promised "sea view" was not an accurate description for the view and should not have been advertised. The real view is one of buildings... if you look in between the buildings you will see the sea. The bathroom was cramped. The service at this hotel varies - from decent to bad. Decent at check-in. Particularly bad was the service at the breakfast area. On one morning nobody was there when we arrived. On another morning there was a group of them but they preferred to engage in casual banter rather than tend to customers. The staff seemed disinterested. The only one bright spark of the hotel is that it is walking distance to the ABC Mall however, there are other well-known hotels in the area that are nearby too and I would suggest looking at those. Overall, this hotel does not do justice to the international Four Points Sheraton brand.

I stayed during Christmas time. My stay at the hotel was perfect. The room, the service and the attention to guests. On 24th they put a yule log in the room for Christmas. I really appreciated. The room is big and everything is there. They also give you every day 4 bottles of water which is quite not common in hotels. As for the location, ABC mall is walking distance from the hotel.

I thought by buying into a 5* Sheraton Hotel I'd be guaranteed a certain standard of comfort and ambience. I was very mistaken. The hotel's locality is very poor....shabby run down area, you can't walk out and find nice restaurants or bars or nightlife. Only nice thing in walking distance is the ABC mall. The lobby was OK, the staff very pleasant and helpful, check-in was easy. Once you went up to the rooms though....the corridors were dark and dingy...and the rooms! Awful decor, with chairs covered in purple damask and white rexine, made of dark veneer wood...and all that on one chair. The room had a black wood cladding....on every surface just about...poor lighting, and floors made of stripes of black and pale wood. The bathroom....floor was dark grey swirly marble...brilliant to hide all dirt and stains which one could only assume were there or not...towels threadbare and worn, paint mottled and bubbling up in some places. The only restaurant I saw, side of lobby on ground floor was deserted, and food was terrible. Please check out the photos to see what you're buying into. I would avoid it at all costs.

Nice and convenient hotel. Big double bed, didn't try breakfast but my colleague mentioned that it was a good one. Close to a big mall, with restaurants, etc. The only problem we all had was with the water in the bathroom. Brown, looking dirty, had to call maintenance. All 3 of us noticed had the same issue. All in different floors.

This is a very suprisingly good property. We were fiven an amazing room. Paul from reception looked after us really well. This hotel is not in Downtown but a short taxi ride from there. Very close to shopping areas and VERY INEXPENSIVE. Very clean!!! Cannot wait to go back

Stayed from 5th to 8th October 2017, very friendly hotel with excellent services that made my stay comfortable. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. One of the best hotels in Beirut. Also location is brilliant , next to the hotel there is a big shopping mall and touristic places.

3 night stay from 24-27 Oct. Friendly welcome and appreciated the room upgrade as a gold member. The room itself was spacious with a comfortable bed and ample working space. Bathroom fine but I found it a little difficult managing the sensitive water temperature. Rooftop pool is a nice touch with space for my morning work out with views to the beach and across the city. Hotel location is fine for meetings and getting to the main tourist areas. Breakfast selection is solid with excellent made to order eggs. Overall one of the better Four Points I have tried and a good option for the business traveller.

I was really impressed with this Four Points -- it has to be one of the best in the Four Points portfolio. The service was very cordial, professional and welcoming. As a Gold member I appreciated the room upgrade, and found the room to be spacious, appealing and tranquil. The rooftop pool is nice, as are the views. Very convenient to ABC Mall and one of Beirut's top foodie stores Fakhani Cheese & Olives. Couldn't find fault with anything so happily awarding five stars. Would definitely stay here again!

I had an Angus Beef with Mushrooms Souce in the Restaurant of this Hotel - one of the best I ever eaten - my personal compliments to the Chef, which must be a Masterchef, really. I wish to add that all staff at this Hotel and Reception, are very friendly, kind and helping whever you need any kind of help. So I am very satisfied. Thank you.

The service provided at Four Points was excellent. My family and I initially planned on staying 4 nights but because of unforeseen events we needed to shorten our stay to only one night. Paul, the service minded and professional duty manager provided excellent service helping us with everything from changing our stay, retrieve a lost phone from uber and track down our daughters favourite stuffed toy. Thank you once again!
