The Bay of Greifswald, the romantic fishing village Wieck with the historic wooden bascule bridge and Eldena with the monastery ruins are popular destinations. For swimming you can go to Greifswald / Eldena the lido about 12 km or to Ludwigsburg about 12 km (ideal for small children).
