I stayed at the Sadot Hotel in July of 2016. I had spent a month in Hebron as a volunteer and I had an early morning flight to return to the United States (JFK). I knew that my month in Hebron would mean added time to get through security at the airport so I wanted to make sure I was as close to Ben Gurion as possible. The hotel was perfect for my needs. The staff was warm and friendly and the facilities are modern and clean. They had a buffet for dinner when I arrived and a breakfast buffet the morning of my flight. They arraigned a taxi for me to get to Ben Gurion Airport and it was hassle free. They also have a small gym with weights and treadmills which was an added plus. Overall, I would say if you need to be close to the airport this is a perfect place to stay.
My mother and I had an early flight to the airport the next morning so we stayed here the night before. It was only for the night so we weren't expecting much. We were wrong. It was absolutely fantastic!!! There was free cakes, fruit and drinks in the lobby. A free computer to use which we used in order to check into our flight. The room was large and very comfortable. Big bonus is the free shuttle to the airport and also the breakfast box which was prepared for us due to our early flight. Special mention to TOMMY at the front desk. What an amazing asset to the hotel. He was SO kind and helpful!
This hotel is excellent. The rooms are large and very well appointed. It is quiet. The amenities are first class. The front desk folks are very welcoming. The happy hour goodies are SUPERB!! In short: this is a place I would readily book if I wished to avoid getting up in Tel-aviv at 4 in the morning to catch a 9 AM flight out of Ben--Gurion. After all: it is only a 15-17 minute cab ride or shuttle to the airport. So for the life of me I cannot understand why on earth there is only one shuttle per hour to the airport!!! This inconvenience negates the exact advantage Sadot promotes itself as having, viz: being so close to the airport. Given the need to allow approx 2 1/2 to 3 hours for check-in and the many stages of Security, Travellers need to leave their rooms well in advance of their flights. They don't want to wait around for the once-per-hour shuttle! Sadot: you have a great Hotel. Fix this!
Stayed one night to catch international flight out the next day. Clean, comfortable room. Shuttle to airport. Very good snacks at evening and solid breakfast next morning. Adjacent to a small shopping mall containing some basic fast food & small food store for snacks, wine, etc.
Excellent hotel !! Great food and friendly staff. Better still was the free buffet between 5-7pm. Excellent selection of food and some free wine to go with it. Location was relatively quiet located close to a hospital so plenty of taxis around if your looking to venture out a bit. Around 20 mins into tel aviv or other beaches and restaurants closer
I had to say here over Shabbat as my wife had an operation on Friday afternoon. The place was very clean, nicely designed and the staff was very friendly, especially Tommy. Breakfast was great. The only negative was that there is no Fridayy night Sabbath meal, but I did have a very good pre-prepared sandwich.
Free taxi ride to or from TLV Ben Gurion airport about 20 minutes away, which is a great perk. Beware that there is almost no food onsite. The hotel is attached to a small mall, and there is a small food court in the mall that has the greasiest of fast food options and a small but decent convenience store. (Having food allergies, I survived by making myself a picnic at the convenience store.) Check-in process was unnecessarily lengthy but the desk clerk's intentions were to be thoroughly helpful, so I can't complain too much. I wish there were to-go breakfast options for people that have to leave earlier than the free breakfast starts, but there weren't.
We needed a place to stay before an early flight back to the US Price was right , it was clean, the management was super in accomodating all of our needs including transportation at 5:45 am to the airport I'll stay there next time too What a pleasure-- no hassles and they delivered what they promised
The hotel is nice enough, but I'm not sure there are a lot of reasons to stay here over a hotel in Tel Aviv itself. I specifically booked the hotel because I had an early flight out of TLV. What I didn't quite realize is that the hotel is actually not that close to the airport. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the terminal from the hotel, which probably only saves you about 15 minutes over coming to the airport from Tel Aviv. What also doesn't totally make sense is that they only offer transfers to the airport once an hour. It seems odd to me, since they basically just contract a taxi for you, it's not like they are operating their own shuttle. They said if I wanted to go at any other time than on the hour, it would be $45. You can get a taxi yourself for less. I think this kind of defeats the purpose of marketing the hotel as being "convenient" for the airport. The hotel itself is clean, modern, well decorated, and quiet. The rooms are spacious. I didn't get to try the breakfast as I left too early, but I asked for a breakfast box the night before and they said they would arrange it (although the guy didn't seem to enthusiastic - he told me it was just some random stuff in the box and may not be very good). When I checked out, no mention was made of the box but I didn't push it. Anyway, I think next time I'll just stay in Tel Aviv if faced with an early flight.
Really great hotel. Comfortable rooms with very nice large beds. A shopping mall at ground floor for any essentials you may have forgotten to purchase before arrival. Staff are more than helpful and around 35 minutes from Tel Aviv (depending on traffic). Food is very good, especially the breakfast.
