Perfect spot for a summer getaway! The beach at this property was amazing for the kids to swim because it’s so shallow and the adults were able to relax on the deck and watch them swim. The lake is beautiful with clear water and great fishing by the reeds. Our host responded quickly to all of the questions we had and was very accommodating to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Would highly recommend this property!

We had a great time. The weather was a little cooler when we were there which limited our water time but the kids had a great time playing on the beach. There were so many things that were well thought out with this property. One of the people in my group even said “I’ve never felt more at home in a rental”. Kelly was easy to communicate with- she answered our questions in a timely matter and made sure we knew she was available should we needed anything during our stay. We definitely plan on returning!

Home away from home!

This was a great place for our family to make lake memories!The home is so nice and everything you need has been provided…from the top-notch kitchen with great cookware to everything else you could possibly need for meals except the food you bring!There are ample comfortable beds and bedding,and all the comforts of home in the living room.The beach, of course, is exceptional with so much sand and the kids just loved it! They kayaked and used the paddle boat, too.We enjoyed roasting hot dogs and marshmallows using the fire pit and enjoyed the breezes off the lake in the evening.

Family lake time

Our group were very comfortable in this beautiful lake home. We had privacy and quiet to enjoy the lake. The Minnesota temperatures were fluctuating, like usual, and we enjoyed the board games inside when we couldn’t be outside. Battle Lake is a quick drive away for food and entertainment, as well. We highly recommend Shoreline restaurant and don’t forget to head in the back for bowling when it’s raining. The kayaks and paddle boats were a big hit when the temperature was cooperating with a large, sandy beach. We listened to loons in the evening while enjoying a lovely fire. Don’t hesitate to rent this gem in lakes country for an unforgettable family getaway.

Fun Family Vacation

We had a fabulous time during our stay! The property was beautiful, the house so clean and had every amenity you could think of. My daughter that has a toddler was especially grateful for the baby gates, high chair, toys and books. We kayaked, fished, and played in the water from sunrise to sunset. The property owners were very easy to contact and went out of their way to ensure our vacation was stress free and loaded with fun!

Top-notch Location!

We are a group of eight fisherman who travel to West Battle every year and this property was by far the best we’ve stayed in over the past seven years! The property had all advertised accommodations and was clean, was close to boat launch/ town, and the hosts were excellent communicators. A+ property!!!

Great space for large family get together

The cabin was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a fun week at the lake. Beautiful sandy beach, though it was a bit steep. 4 very nice kayaks and a paddle board that we used often during the week. Only drawback was the swimmers itch in the lake but with using sunscreen (reapplying often) and rinsing off right after coming out of the lake it was kept at bay. Everyone enjoyed the week at the lake.

Fabulous and Heartwarming

We can’t imagine a place any better for our large brood of grandchildren and their parents - and the hosts felt like family too! Best part was the 100 feet of sandy lakeshore and shallow waters which was soooooo awesome for all of us but especially the little ones! The cabin had so many beds and everything we needed, and all was so clean and well kept! We will be back!

Perfect vacation!

We loved our stay at this cabin. The host responded promptly with any questions that we had. The cabin was perfect for us! The beach was beautiful! The cabin was very clean, and it had everything that we needed! Loved that it had a large driveway for us to be able to park all of our vehicles and boat.

Beautiful house

This is a great place to stay with a larger group. Plenty of space. Owners were easily accessible if we had an issues (we didn’t but they were easy to reach). Definitely coming back next time we are in the area.
