Staff were very pleasant. The area around the hotel wasn't very nice.

See review from wife. Womans restroom toilets plugged, no soap or shampoo in room, breakfast cold. Lamp in room broken. TV controller did not function properly. One thing the folks that cleaned the room did a good job.

Desk clerk new why i was in town just by my name. We was very kind.

The whole reception area was striped out.The book in desk was two tables and cables everywhere with open metal boxes. Went get ice, machine was not working.Went to front desk and no one there. Next morning found the lounge/breakfast area was also tore out. Breakfast was very basic. No water pressure in the shower, could not get any hot water.

Towels Dingy. Room had visible dust. Toilet seat broken. Closet door handles missing. Bathroom light fixture was rusted. Furniture in lobby and rooms old and worn. Carpet stained. Staff did nothing to address concerns. Breakfast room was filthy with dirty equipment and they ran out of coffe before 7:30am. Linen left for 48 hours outside rooms in halls.

Friendly staff, clean room, and a nice breakfast. Even my dog had a good stay.

Nice staff, quick checkin. Older facility and needed cosmetic updates with paint and good deep cleaning. Breakfast needs an upgrade too....figure out how to make good eggs, and keep eggs and sausage hot. Waffle mix has got to be changed...comes out tasting like Belgian cardboard.

The hotel was comfortable and had a pretty good breakfast.

Hotel booked us in an "accessible" room despite being very empty. We asked to be moved because the shower was wheelchair accessible and hence cold. Beds we comfy, clean, and breakfast was good.

Conveniently located and easy to get to. The room was clean and nice. Pool is nothing exciting. Al T's restaurant next door is good if you like Cajun food and beer. Recommend it.

Super hotel!!! Very very clean, friendly & helpful personnel, location is close to interstate, Trade Days, & an excellent restaurant. Stayed on third floor with access by elevator. Breakfast was also very nice. Will be staying here again when traveling to Texas.

restaurant next door, bar next door

THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE..GREAT ROOM..THE PLACES TO EAT ARE JUST FANTASTIC..YOU CAN WALK TO THEM.DOESN'T MATTER WHAT KIND OF FOOD YOU WANT EITHER.. E DROVE EACH DAY TO GALVESTON TO THE THE BIKE RALLY..THE DRIVE WAS GREAT ALSO..A BIT CLD BUT GREAT..WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE..OH YEA THE BREAKFAST WAS REALLY GOOD TOO..

The Hotel staff was wonderful and the accomodations were very nice but on 9-17-09 @ 5:10 AM the fire alarm went off in the hotel and scarred us half to death. The girl at the main desk didn't know what to do so she called the owner of the hotel. And on 9-18-09 at 5 AM the fire alarm went off again waking us up again from our sleep. Other than not getting a good nights sleep the accomodations were ok. If you need your rest I would not reccommend this hotel until they get the fire alarm fixed properly.

Nice hotel Breakfast was lacking

We want to apologize. We are in the middle of updating the hotel. And the City of Winnie did come out and fix our water issue. Thank you for your feedback.
