Winter Wonderland

Had a lovely stay over a weekend in which a foot of snow fell. The views were beautiful, my boys loved sledding down the hill in the yard. Nice place, very clean, small but worked great for a family of 4.

Beautiful cozy cabin!

I usually don’t leave reviews but this cabin was beautiful cozy just what we had been wanting something that would disconnect us from our busy routine. It had everything we needed. The view is amazing and when the animals come it makes it just a little more magical if you have kids. Loved it! Cant wait to book our next year trip here.

Amazing!

Our family had an amazing time at this property! The home can be best described as having a modern, cabin feel. The home is clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The property is breathtaking! Our two young boys had a blast exploring all that nature had to offer. Our daily sightings of deer made the stay all the more endearing. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed laying on the grass and star gazing at night. We enjoyed walking down to the river to fish and listen to the water. Everything was perfect!!!

Amazing Mountain stay!!

We loved the house top to bottom!! We had 7 total staying in the group. It was perfect, the 2 teen boys ran down to the river to fish before anyone else woke up. Coffee on the back porch area was great in the morning. Our toddler collected leaf's and we all enjoyed the deer everyday. The house is located right before entering the town of Bayfield we had breakfast and dinner. Very nice small town to drive around. We did ride the train Durango train the drive was a beautiful 20 minute easy drive into Durango. The house was stocked with everything you will needed. Very clean and had plenty of everything. We will definitely be back again!!! THANK YOU for a memorable stay!

So Peaceful!

We had a very relaxing time here. The house had everything we needed and was clean and spacious. It was great to have a washer and dryer. We loved being on the beautiful river! I would suggest more comfortable patio furniture other than the picnic table - we fortunately brought our camping chairs so we used these when relaxing. And the kitchen could use some serious organization - pots / pans / prep bowls, etc were in multiple locations so we had to look around each time we needed something. Luckily there was no one staying at the tiny house so we felt secluded - probably would not be the case if there were other guests because you can see the other house from the first floor windows. Overall, very nice and we do plan to stay again on our next trip!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home and property. Very clean which is surprisingly rare for whatever reason. Home is well appointed with everything you may need. No fireplace but that wasn't a huge deal, just a nice to have. Bayfield is a great little town but Durango is 15-20 miles away. Even saw a Bear (thought they would be hibernating) along the Highway on the way back to the cabin from purgatory. You will need a 4X4 if snow is on the ground as it it a pretty steep incline. No trouble for us but I did tow a small SUV out for guests staying at the small cabin on same property. Driveway could have been plowed a few more times as it snowed quite a bit but I saw that as a challenge for my 4X4. The other folks, not so much. Beautiful and secluded with the exception of a couple other cabins but the other folks were friendly and mostly out of site.
