At Lone Wolf Cabins & Getaway, you can expect to unwind from the daily grind. Our cabins and vacation homes are located at Vallecito Lake, CO, home of fantastic fishing and expansive wilderness. If you’re dreaming of a real Colorado vacation, SW Colorado is the place for you.
Come stay at the Fishing Lodge. Two queen beds in private bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in living room. Full kitchen, one bathroom, gas log fireplace. Sleeps up to 6, max of 6. Pets are allowed with a pet fee of $10.00 per day. We do charge a onetime cleaning fee.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a fireplace and a coffee maker.

Cabin for Christmas

We drove in from Texas later than we had expected. Everything was ready for us to check in and Tara had the cabin decorated for Christmas which meant a lot to my kids. Our stay was great and we had all the amenities listed on the initial description. The only issue was the icy driveway which was too much for our vehicle to get up but that was just us being unprepared for the weather. The cabin, local area, and lake were all gorgeous and Tara was helpful and accommodating. We will probably try to come back in the summer.

Lake view/great food!

Enjoyed our stay in the Fishing Cabin! Beautiful view of the mountains and the top of the lake on the front patio. Close enough to the marina and other fishing spots without being too close. Visited the Weminuche Grill across the road multiple times…very tasty food and beverages. The market/restaurant next door was also a huge perk! Thanks for the small-town Colorado experience!
