"I looked at several options and feel so fortunate that I chose this special home. Patricia, our host, made the stay feel especially welcoming with the heaters on, fragrant candles burning and pup treats for the furbaby. She filled the bird feeders so the birds, brilliant cardinals, goldfinch, yellow rump warblers were abundant the entire stay. A few feet from the front door. Patrica is super easy to communicate with also. The location couldn’t have been more scenic and soul refreshing. The “Chalet” felt like a resort but so homey. Well stocked kitchen with modern appliances, wood ready for the fireplace. Waking up in the loft looking out the at the beautiful sunrise and feeling like I slept at the top of the oak tree. Large fenced yard for the dog. Catch (and release for me) big catfish! Great Egrets, Blue Heron, gator in the distance.I plan on returning for a sister trip. "
