We were booked into the motel for 3 night as a tour group. The room were quite, fresh, roomy and very comfortable. The restaurant provided a very good dinner and an excellent breakfast. The house wine was very acceptable. But you do need your own transport as it is not adjacent to the town centre. The Host made us all very welcome.
Clean, very comfortable and superb restaurant. Service excellent. We found it very easy to book in and staff were very helpful with all our queries/requests. This motel is located in a central, but relatively quiet position as you arrive in Bateman's Bay from the north.
Overpriced for what we got. Just because we got the last room and the room had a spa bath which we didn't want to use we paid $360 for this. No microwave or tissues in room. Internet only one could get on and wouldn't work most of the time. The plus was the bed was comfy.
We took 40 elderly people to stay at the Sunseeker motel and Allan and Rebecca and their team couldn't have made us more welcome. Organising and coordinating that many people is hard as the best of times but the team a sunseeker just made everything easy. Rooms are older but very very clean and the food is wonderful. THANKYOU from all at South West Community Transport
This is a good motel, clean and new. It's conveniently located on the main road The receptionist was friendly and helpful The price was reasonable compared to many others on the south coast. My only complaint was the ridiculous wifi sign-on process.
Motel backs onto main highway. Even with double glazing, truck noise is evident through the night. No cable TV as promised. Coffee cups were dirty. Bathroom in need of refurbishment. Quite a long walk into town for restaurants etc.
We booked this hotel at the last minute. It looked a bit dated on the outside but we were very pleased with the room. It looks like they have been updated within the last few years. Very clean and better than I expected. In a room at the southern part of the hotel so the wifi was a bit sketchy. I was pleased with the hotel and would stay there again.
We made a last minute booking for an overnight stay; arrival was a bit confusing as the paperwork for our booking was not readily available, but it was quickly sorted, and we were given a ground level room, although we had to park around the corner as there was some sorting going on, with a large skip bin parked opposite our room. The room was large and comfortable, but no external windows, so no natural light. Bed was very comfortable and everything we needed was there. We didn't try to access the wifi, as it is often a problem in Batemans Bay. The restaurant was closed - no reason given. Fine for an overnight stay and surprisingly quiet given the road outside. No traffic noise at all in the room.
Had a good time here - good room very clean and settled in to have a meal in the restaurant. I can honestly say I had the best steak in years here cooked to the way I like it and beautifully tender. Hubby had a mixed fish platter which he said wa excellent as well. Had great sleep so would definitely be back.
We spent one night. Room was excellent. Double glazing on windows a real bonus. Couldn't have asked for more would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Good location with easy access to town and for trips either north or south.
