The property itself was nice. However, the food selection was quite terrible under the week. I was not aware that certain restaurants are only open on the weekends now. Highly recommend bringing your own food supply and cooking if you have a chalet.

Lovely property and room. Peaceful escape with amazing views .. good food at Ducey’s.

I know there is pandemic but at least have customer service available even remotely. No one to ask and front desk didn’t even let us know what when where how why to expect. We were just there to sleep. Not worth the money we paid.

Beautiful location. My Mountain view Chalet even had a partial view of the lake.

Dirty room Loud Rude people Very crowded and unorganized at check in

It was nice and clean. It had a full kitchen but we didn't use and overall a nice short stay.

Nice size living room, nice touch with wood burning FP, great restaurants next door, fantastic customer service with smiling people at registration

I arrived after dark so I did not get to fully enjoy the facility or the area. I thought the chalet we stayed in was very cool. A small kitchen, living room, and a deck upstairs and the bathroom and two very nice beds in the cool, lower floor. It was unique and interesting. I would definitely return again if the opportunity arose. Very close to Yosemite. Neat area.

The chalet was great. Wish we had more time. It was vlea and staff was great

We enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful to have a kitchen in the chalet that we could use. If I could add anything to the kitchen, I'd add a couple of baking dishes and a knife sharpener. (The knives wouldn't cut hot better.) I think that the holiday weekend taxed the housekeeping staff. We were there 9 days. If we hadn't asked for (and received quickly!) towels and trash bags, we would never have seen clean replacements. The sheets were never changed, but we didn't complain because, well hey, it was just us and we've gone 9 days on the same sheets before at home. So - all in all, it was a good experience. We'd love to come back.

Awesome- spacious and a great welcoming staff!!!! You will not regret having this resort as a rest destination after going through Yosemite.

Very nice place, quiet and romantic! Good size kitchen, very good heathers! Restroom very nice! All excellent!

Room is so spacious, staff is so kind. Restaurant is excellent.

The Pines Resort is in a beautiful forrest setting around Bass Lake, however the chalet duplex cabin I stayed is in need of major upgrades and restoration. Plus, I was not informed ahead of time that the chalet was a duplex, and the walls were very thin, I could hear conversations between the wall that separated us. The cost of the chalet was extremely high in my opinion to the poor value I received in staying there with a dirty balcony, holes in sheets, only one bathroom downstairs next to the bedroom and old carpet & linoleum. You don't even get the chalet cleaned but once every 4 days. Not a good value.

We enjoy coming to the Pines for a rustic adventure. The quaint chalets are fun to stay in. Not a typically hotel room but more like a town house with kitchen stove fridge etc. Has a bedroom downstairs and a pullout sofa in the living area. Also a fun loft maybe only 6’x10’ for the kids to play in. The restaurant Ducey’s is always a good meal and the Sunset Specials before 6p are reasonable. Great place to spend a long weekend or even a quick overnighter.
