Stayed for 2 nights. The staff were very helpful as I requested a quieter room after the first night due the huge numbers of motor bikes racing up & down the street at all hours of the night. I didn't realise that this was "Wheels & Waves" week where up to 6,000 motor cyclists descended on the town. The bedroom was the biggest double bedroom l have ever stayed in.The roof top pool was an excellent facility . The breakfast was more than ok. The walk into the old town took only a few minutes. We are already planning our next stay at the hotel & would highly recommend it to everyone .
We liked it very much, the room was very big and the beds very confortable. Breakfast buffet was big and good food. The attention good. The hotel is in and excellent location and the roof has a nice bar and restaurant. Also the pool is on the roof and a beautiful view.
Had a great 2 night stay at this hotel. On booking I requested a large parking space and on arrival it was easy to park at the front of the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and gave us a junior suite. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel location was excellent- close to restaurants, bars, shops and beaches. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
I can't comment on the hotel itself as I've not stayed there but I can comment on the rooftop bar. We dropped in there for an apero on Saturday May 27th at about 7.20 p.m. It was a beautiful evening, albeit a bit windy, and the view from the rooftop bar was superb. We sat down at a table. There appeared to be four staff on duty; a girl taking drinks to tables, a young man behind the bar and two others who looked a bit more senior. They were chatting. After five minutes, when no-one had approached us nor made eye contact, my wife and I decided to time them. After a further five minutes with no contact nor acknowledgement of our presence, we voted with our feet and left, making our views known to the duty manager on reception as we departed. This is supposed to be a bar with a bit of class: on this showing they're a bunch of amateurs! French customer service (or lack of!) at its worst, unfortunately. I thought that those attitudes had passed. I was wrong.
Another night on tour. Seeing a lot of hotels. Two issues seem to standout in hotels. A lack of electrical plugs each side of the bed. Had to run an extension cord across the floor. Secondly, mold around the tub and in the shower. This seems to be common. I don't think housekeeping is paying attention. The tour dinner buffet was tasteless. Breakfast buffet was late and uninspiring.
A friend wanted to celebrate her birthday and surprise us with a drink and a a great view of Biarritz, a sea side resort in the Basque Country. It being a clear sunny day with a lovely blue sky it was a very thoughtful idea which we all loved.
Ater travelling and staying at tiny rooms, what a shocker to stay at this hotel as the room is huge! You can fit 5 people in the twin bedroom. Shops are easily accessible by foot and also the beach. Cafes and market is also nearby.
Biarritz one of the greatest villages in Basque country have a few good hotels, this is one of them. Located in best spot in Biarritz, you are in a 5 minute walk to city center and could park your car easily. In front of a beautiful sea side and great from an evening walk. Property looks amazing, top floor have a great lounge area with great pool and everything looks in great condition. Rooms are beautiful decorated, it is a modern hotel, well managed and it looks like it. Room have a queen bed, desk and a living room. Bathroom is also well equipped and well refill after every day. Also coffee and tea available and a local tasty local biscuits. Wifi works great, front desk is polite and helpful, help you in Spanish or English. And I am trying to find someone not great and I cannot find. Maybe could have a cheaper parking but it is your choice use it.
The hotel was exelent situated - with a lovely roof top. Unfortunately I have to change room 5 times on 8 days - lot of things which doesnt function at the rooms - and the staff in the reception is not at all polite or friendly - that was in all situations - maybe it is a french attitude..?? However it spoiled my mood everytime I had to ask for something.
I spent 3 nights in the Radisson Blu Biarritz. The hotel was great, I had a lovely room with view of the ocean. Water and refreshments were provided in the room. All staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly, and I would like to thank Julie at reception who was exceptionally helpful during my stay. I did not have breakfast but ate in the rooftop restaurant at lunchtime which was lovely and very good value for money. The rooftop pool and bar were quiet as it was off season, I would imagine that These are very busy at peak times. The hotel is located about ten minutes walk from the town centre and casino, and is close to beaches. It is also very close to nice shops and restaurants. I hope to return to this hotel again.
