Best nights sleep

We stay here when we visit family and always chose the spa bath rooms, we love the room and it’s clean, warm, well equipped and very comfortable. The only negative we found this time was the room has started to look in need of a refresh. The walls are marked, there was damage to the mirror, canvas, frame on bathroom window. This is no reflection on the hotel it’s clearly been disrespectful customers but it does spoil the room a little as it’s always been immaculate. We will still be back as always.

After a full day at work & a long drive , to be met by a very sullen staff member checking me in was , to put it mildly rather disappointing. He reluctantly helped me upstairs with my luggage . Horrid view from my bedroom window , ridiculously small sized washbasin, shower door didn’t close properly . Work I stay here again ? …. No !

Keycard Issues

Continuous issues with the key card alarming, hours of noise. This led to an electrician being called, after I had to shower, wash, and get dressed in the dark because they isolated the Breaker to the lights as this stopped the noise. Not ideal, when I'm up at 0500 for work.

Bring a aircon unit with you

Rooms are good for what they are, but the temperature of the rooms are ridiculous! I stayed in November, i have both windows open, two fans on and i still woke up and thermostat said it was 28 degrees. Did not sleep at all and checked out early.

Room smelt heavily of cigarette smoke with a window that barely opened. Over 70 stairs to my room with no lift, no fun with my disability.
