Escape to the New River Valley and enjoy the most beautiful time of the day and this charming cabin: Golden Hour. Golden Hour sits at the highest point of the property overlooking rolling meadows and mountains. Only a 2 minute drive down into the valley and you have access to 3000 feet of private river frontage (shared with two other small vacation homes), the New River Trail (55 mile scenic hiking/biking trail).

I give my guests space but am available when needed.

Escape to the New River Valley and enjoy the most beautiful time of the day and this charming cabin: Golden Hour. Golden Hour sits at the highest point of the property overlooking rolling meadows and mountains. Only a 2 minute drive down into the valley and you have access to 3000 feet of private river frontage (shared with two other small vacation homes), the New River Trail (55 mile scenic hiking/biking trail), and several spots for lounging with a fire pit next to the water. On the right side of the property, sit down by the river and throw a folding chair in the water as your watch the sunset. On the far left side, enjoy the deep still waters for swimming and fishing. Have a campfire when the sun goes down and if you're with us in the summer, enjoy the light show by the fireflies that light up the 5 acre private waterfront field. Drive to the river/trail access is only a 2 minute drive and if you're active and want a hike, its about a 12 minute walk down. The home itself is stylish and comfortable with modern amenities and a two person bubbler tub perfect for romantic evenings. Enjoy misty mornings with your cup of coffee from the screened in front porch.

We had a wonderful time! Very peaceful and quiet, with amazing mountain views. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, with many thoughtful, modern amenities provided. Restful and relaxing trip, with easy trail access for hiking and biking. The property management was very responsive throughout our stay, too. Definitely recommend!

Great Getaway

We found the house to be exactly as described, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The views from the front yard were delightful with beautiful sunrises, sunsets, as well as wildlife sightings. The private riverside access was by far our favorite component of this property. It is an exceptionally well maintained area, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.
