Amazing home on the river!

My husband and I really loved our stay here. We just wanted a few days in nature and this place delivered so well. It was warm and sunny our first day, so we had an outdoor fire. It was chilly the next day so we had hot tub time overlooking the river. It snowed the next day so we spent the day by the fire. In all weather this place is fantastic. The kitchen has anything and everything you could need. Plenty of space and amenities with a comfortable bed. The river frontage is perfection. There’s high bank where the fire pit is but also a path down to the river for fishing/splashing/exploring. I’d love to come back with our son in the summer! We spent the whole time talking about how we can one day buy a property like this. Glad this exists in the meantime!!

Beautiful log cabin escape

This is a wonderful, beautiful place to stay, so close to Seattle and to the place we love to ski, Stevens Pass. Everything about this place shows the love the owners have for their little piece of paradise...it's beautiful. We could have done with a little less rain, but the cabin is so comfortable we didn't care, even though we were disappointed that the snow skiing was not good. The cabin is accurately represented on VRBO and the owners were delightful to deal with. We'll be back, and we recommend it to all.

Great place to relax!

This is a great home, everything you need to be comfortable and get away from the city. The views of the mountains and river are wonderful! Plus the beds are really comfortable! enjoyed our stay and will be coming back!

Great Stay

Overall we had a great stay while we got married at nearby Lake Wenatchee. The pictures don't do the property justice. It's just beautiful. I will say the power went around 8am on the day we were getting married and stayed out until 10pm that night which really put a damper on our day as we tried to get ready to say our vows, celebrate and cut cake afterward, etc and that was super disappointing. I continued to get text message notifications of outages at the property after we moved on to our honeymoon location and it left me with the impression this is a super common occurrence that I wished we'd known about beforehand. To his credit John, sent us $50 refund for the trouble even though it was not within his control which was nice but anyone considering this property for important events may want to come better prepared than we were. Don't get it twisted though, overall it was an AMAZING stay that we would absolutely do again.

Such a beautiful, peaceful place to stay we had everything that we would ever need, we did not want to leave, the river was beautiful we enjoyed a campfire a couple of times they have a hot tub we ran out of time so we didn't get to use it. Our favorite yearly retreat

Nothing beats Sky River Lodge. This year was our third stay, and we made sure to bring lots of dvds for the rainy weather, enjoyed fires in the fireplace, took chilly walks along the river, and took full advantage of the incredible loft. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else, as it’s perfect for us and our dogs.

The cabin was clean, very well-appointed kitchen in a great setting. Loved sitting at the edge of the lawn overlooking the river as well as playing cards on the deck. Enjoyed soaking in the clean hot tub. Took a restful nap in one of the hammocks. First cabin we rented with a Traeger and Weber charcoal grill (versus Gas grill) which we liked. Oh, and Sir Dudley (our Dog) loved the veiw from hte deck.

Sky River Lodge was Perfect

The Lodge is beautiful, very clean, nicely decorated, but most of all very comfortable and relaxing. Our hosts were very responsive and friendly. The setting is spectacular, along the river and in the mountains! This was the perfect place for us to celebrate our anniversary. We thank the hosts for sharing their wonderful lodge.

So pretty, so peaceful

Spent a few lovely days enjoying the quiet of the space and beauty of the river. The cabin was rustically styled, but very comfortable with everything one would need to enjoy and relax. The hosts were very responsive and kind when I reached out after the power abruptly shut off the first evening (and I was sure I'd tripped the breaker as there was no weather), as well as when I could not for the life of me find the router to reset it and get the internet going. As I'm guessing that instructions on both those things, which had very quick resolutions, were included in the guest manual ( that I mistook for guest book for my entire stay and never opened), I should probably also include "patient" in my description of the host. This is definitely a place I will come back to an enjoy!

Great getaway on the Skykomish

Me and my two teen kids stayed a week at the lodge and had a wonderful time. It's a wonderful cabin, very clean and rustic but with modern amenities. I appreciated all the vintage touches and woodwork. Its a good base to explore, hike, fish, swim. Heads up the nearest store is a ways away so bring all your goodies.

Quiet riverfront getaway with amenities for all weather

We had a great time at this cabin in spite of the very rainy weather. The cabin had plenty of activities for any weather situation, with both yard games and board games. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals at home. The water access was great with the neighborhood trail next door another little treasure this property offers. The cabin was private and quiet and the hot tub was so enjoyable. The views of the river both inside and out were amazing. The fireplace indoors and fire pit outdoors were also great. The little touches around the cabin were wonderful. This was very close to the highway but also very quiet and secluded. The weather impacted our hiking planes but we still had plenty do to at the cabin. The dogs loved the yard and having water access. The beds were comfortable as well.

New Year’s Eve Stay

We brought another couple and a group of my son’s friends to celebrate NYE. We hiked locally during the day and enjoyed the cabin in the evening. It was the perfect space for our group. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a cozy cabin experience.

An amazing autumn weekend stay

We once again had a perfect time at our "adopted cabin" as the kids refer to it now (hope that's OK)! We can't wait to be back.
