The hotel is located in a beautiful hill close to the lake and the room is really good. But the food and the services are not good at all Few employes working a lot, the food in the breakfast is just average. The hotel restaurant and bar have a bad and confused service and very simple and expensive food for the quality!!

We stayed in the Hotel for 5 weeks and in all that time we had no reason to complain. Staff are so helpful. Breakfast was impressive and the Spa was great to have after a day skiing. Easy access to the town centre and ski area.

We spend 6 days at this hotel and everything was perfect. We were supposed to be at Pioneros hotel and fortunately they sent us to this one which has more category. Great breakfast, nice rooms, perfect pool, good location, and especially exellent attention from its personel. It will certainly be my first option if I come back to Bariloche.

I'm now hosted at this hostel at this moment. At my arrival I was informed that they had a problem with my reservation (made 1 month ago) and we were reschedule at the other hotel they had in the same property (Villa Huinid Pioneros). When I request to stay where we are (due to their "problem" with availability) I was informed that it was not possible because now they opened the hotel to student winter season. The hotel I was replaced is 3 star and the one I have booked is a 5 one. The only thing they offered us is a free dinner in the hotel standard restaurant (and the buffet was quite ok). Very disappointed with client service, non accorded to a five star hotel.

We were 4 friends and we rented a "cabana". The installations were awesome (and included a barbecue!), the view magnificent and the room service excellent. The hotel also offers a pool and some spas services for it's customer. The only thing that tainted our experience was at the moment of the check in we received either the worst up sale try I have ever seen or just a baffling customer service interaction. When we tried to check in the receptionist told us the the cabana we rented was not fit to hold 4 adults and then tried to proceed to send us to a more expensive one before we even see the one we had reserved. When we pointed out that the reservation was done with the help of one member of their personnel and he never informed us of the problem she replied that it wasn't her who did it and other excuse of the sort while blaming us for reserving "incorrectly" (she stopped just short of saying it was not her problem). After some times of the conversation going nowhere, we decided to go see the cabana first and concluded there was no problem with it whatsoever and could easily accommodate us.

Thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at the Villa Huinid, which is just a short distance outside of Bariloche (2 km, walkable but not a very pretty walk alongside the busy road). Paid extra for a lake-front room and worth the extra money. Very nice view and generous sized rooms. Bathrooms are spacious and modern. Breakfast was excellent -- plentiful and good food, served buffet style, but with much variety and in a spacious dining room. There is also a pool and spa at the guests' disposal, but we did not use it. As mentioned, walking into town is not very scenic, but a taxi is not overly expensive at 75 pesos. Can also walk straight down to the lake to view the sunset if one chooses. My complaints: check-in very slow and hotel is a little on the expensive side.

This hotel is very confortable and with a good maintenance. Rooms are big and if they face the lake the view is perfect, even in the elevator you can see the landscape. Good amenities, chocolate at night and good heating as well. Nice towels. We were 5, three kids that really enjoyed the inside pool where you can ask for pool towels. Breakfast is excellent with many choices. Friendly staff at any time. The restaurant and the bar are a good option if you do not want to go out, though the orders take a long time to arrive. My suggestions: do not charge the kids machines to play, provide disposable shoes for the pool.

It's worth it to get a room with a view of the lake and mountains. The hotel has an intimate feeling and you'll make friends at the little bar. The front-desk service could be better — I asked the way to town and was sent in the wrong direction — but this is a good home base for exploring this stunning part of Argentina.

Very cute hotel within two kilometers of town. Hotel has indoor pool and spa. Gorgeous view of the lake and mountains. Excellent breakfast and dinner in hotel restaurant. Ask for second pillow. Beds are small.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel - you should be warned though that there is not air conditioning in the room. We went before it was too hot out, so that was OK with us, and they provided a small fan in the room. The hotel itself was very nice, had a log cabin feel with lots of wood everywhere. The breakfast buffet was nothing special, but the dinner was delicious there. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly!
