A beautiful hotel situated in the lovely town of Bariloche The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was lovely and warm with lovely views. An excellent breakfast was provided. Free wifi also.
Good location and good service. Convenient stores, pharmacy, restaurants nearby, and only 3 minute walk to the main square and main shopping street. But, the heater in the room is so hot, I literally had to open the window at night to let the heat out. No internet in the room, you can only do it in the lobby.
Very good hotel, close to everything, very good breakfast. Nice clean room. Came in early morning and was able to check in and get a room before the standard check in hours. Exceptional service by Natali at the front desk.
We were with a handicapped group, and we were first offered a very small room in which there was no way a wheelchair could even fit between the wall and the small double bed or that a handicapped person could navigate in the very tiny bath. They were willing to take the bathroom door down, but this was still not doable for someone with mobility needs. The staff was very good to work with us, and they provided a larger room that was equipped with a roll-in shower and the other items we needed; however, we wish that would have been done in the first place for accessibility. The larger room was very nice and the service perfect, but the smaller room was, well, very small. It would be fine for a single person. The hotel itself needs a little updating, but we found the staff VERY agreeable and attentive. Room service was prompt and what we ordered was good, although there is a restaurant in the hotel and several nearby. There was plenty of variety in the breakfast buffet, but breakfast was late one morning (if you are on a tour, it might matter). There was always a friendly, well-fed "greeter dog" out front (a must in Argentina, I think). It is a solid hotel that would meet a traveller's needs, and, although we did not use the spa, pool, etc., it looked nice in the pictures. Rooms with lake views must have also been very nice, and it is close to walk into the shopping area.
This is a perfect location. It's close to the bus stops that get you to the fabulous hiking trails; and you can walk to all of the shops and restaurants. The service here is excellent, (the staff in the restaurant are particularly wonderful, and the food is great) We had a corner room, with a great view of the lake. We could hear the cars on the streets, which would bother some people, but to us it was the tradeoff for having a great location.
The hotel common areas are a bit dated but my room was quite good - at the back it was nice and quiet. Our check-in was efficient and the two guys had enough English to make the process painless - although we were disappointed to find that our vehicle was too big for their garage - parking was one of the reasons we chose this place! The central location is another plus. Check-out was a bit of a shambles - the two guys on duty had little English and one was obviously having 'a bad day'. It took forever to get away. For the price, this is a good option - not luxury, but well above 'basic' and the location is good.
We have been accommodated in this hotel with our partners in a organized group tour. Well seized rooms, the breakfeast acceptable but not more than this, the staff quite unfriendly, mostly in the dinning romm, overall, good value for money
The hotel is not on the waterfront so the views from the rooms are not good unless you are on the top floors. There are wonderful views from the swimming pool and also a little terrace there that we only found just before leaving! Basically a comfortable clean hotel with good sized rooms. The best part was the restaurant which is very small and sort of behind the bar but serves excellent food and a huge range of wine by the glass (very generously sizes glasses too) at very reasonable prices. We ate here twice and had a main course and two big glasses of wine each for just over £15 a head.
I was wanting this hotel to be better than it is but it lived up to my expectations. The front desk staff was very accommodating and the check-in process was a breeze, unfortunately that is where is the beauty stopped. Our room looked like it had been flooded not long ago and the outside noise from the street below poured into our room even with the windows closed. The wait staff in the dining room was quite unfriendly and we had a mouse run across our feet the last morning at breakfast. The hotel has great potential but a face lift is needed for it to become great again.
Visited with my wife as part of an organised tour group from the UK visiting South America. The hotel was very nice with comfortable rooms and a good restaurant. Nicely positioned in the town near to shops and the Town Square. It has an indoor heated swimming pool.
