Not a 4 stars AT ALL! I'm a regular traveler and have been in Buenos Aires many times. Usually I stay at Two hotel which is a very nice place, just a few blocks from this one, but as our VP was in town I wanted to choose something better. Bad choice. I have stayed in this hotel 5 years ago, that time they gave me a nice room with a balcony and I had a good memory about it. Well... bad memories only at this time. Let's go to them: 1. They gave me a room in a hall with the elevator. You can imagine how noise it was. I've Asked to change, but the reception told me it was completely booked. I was actually willing to pay for an upgrade, something. No deal. Ok, right, this happen. 2. We arrived around 10pm, hungry and craving for food. As a 4 stars with a restaurant we were sure to have something to eat. No, sorry, nothing. "Sorry we had an event there is nothing to serve you". Really?!? Ok.. room service, right? "We don't have it neither" (!!!) 3. Lets at least have a shower after so many hours flying. Ok, you can have a shower, but in the hell. The shower was sooooo hot that was almost burning my skin. And, of course, the bathroom floor got flooded afterwards. I could also mentioned that the room looked as Dracula's alcove and it was cold. Breakfast was ok though. If you are looking for a not so good 2 to 3 stars is a good option. If you are looking for something cheap and well located there is plenty of better options in the region. If you are looking for a 4 star, don't stay here AT ALL.

The hotel was very well located with lots of good restaurants and wonderful tango show close by. Sunday markets right outside. The service from the staff at the front desk was excellent. The restaurant was very disappointing with the buffet breakfast being very basic.

Hi, Was on a package deal for 7 nights. Hotel in superb location. Our room was on 3rd floor directly above the entrance / and street so was noisy in the early mornings. Room had a locked fridge so unless you purchased there package to utilise the fridge the fridge was otherwise out of bounds. There was no tea/coffee making facilities tho I heard other floors had this. In a package why not us? The toilet and bidet were primary school height(very low to the ground) so gave good work out for the knees. Breakfast was the same for 7 mornings - no variance. Would be nice if they did but read the reviews like you are doing now so expected. The swimming pool/spa advertised was 2900 Argentine pesos per person per day so we did not utilise and only open between 5pm and 10pm. Overall hotel served its purpose. If going back and had to chose accommodation would look around for alternative. The staff were friendly and helpful though. Wifi was free but was not good in the rooms so invariably you found people in the lobby or dining area where the signal was stronger. Yes would be fine for a family but depends on what you are looking for in a hotel. Airport transfers were taken care of via our package however taxis were easy to get or could be ordered from reception. I found the beds and pillows very hard. not particularly comfortable tho I did crash!!!

Kenton Palace is very well located and from there we were able to walk to Plaza de Mayo, the obelisk, Teatro Colon, Puerto Madero and many restaurants and shops. The Sunday markets (whilst loud during set up!) are fantastic and literally right outside the door. The buffet breakfast was good but there aren't many savoury options - sweet tooths will be fine! The staff went above and beyond on multiple occasions for us and we were very thankful for that (and their awesome English!). WiFi was very average though but that's my only con. Rooms and bathrooms huuuuge!

Great location - on historical Defensa Street, close to excellent tango/dinner show, Plaza de Mayo & subway; not far from shopping, places of interest e.g Opera House & waterfront; bonus to be in the middle of the Saturday market. As in any big city, you need to be careful where you go at night and don't go out alone. Huge rooms - with King bed, large bathroom /walk in wardrobe; office desk & mini fridge. Plenty of choice in the buffet breakfast and staff speak English. We didn't use the other facilities - spa, restaurant, bar as there are many other choices nearby.

The hotel is well located. Rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast is middle of the road but the restaurant bar facilities are poor. We had trouble finding wait staff to get any service. Very noisy when the market stands are dropped off on Saturday night.

We arrived from New Zealand late one cold, dark night to lovely staff who were very helpful and well organised. The staff were always happy to help us for the week we were there and their English is fluent. The property is in what feels like a rough area because there's lots or grafitti, rubbish and homeless right outside. But it is secure, clean and definitely safe. Rooms are huge and nice. Beds are amazing. Bathrooms a bit weird with glass frosted doors and open plan baths but they're clean and spacious. Breakfast is fantastic - you can fill up on bread, pastries, sweets, cereal and fruit. It's a short walk up the cobbled street to Plaza de Mayo and the Pink Palace, subway stations and an easy 10/15 minute walk to the obelisk.

Stayed at this hotel for a week. Great location, a short walk from Plaza de Mayo. Close to great restaurants eg Aldo's Restaurant and Barba Roja. Clean, very spacious and reception staff spoke good English. Internet is slow and has poor connection. Best thing is its location in traditional part of San Telmo which has an old world charm. San Telmo markets are held right outside the door each Saturday- good for a wander. Breakfast buffet is average but adequate. For excellent coffee head up Defensa Road to Cafe Z. Fitness centre and spa are usable at extra cost. All up, great location and close to convenience stores and public transport.

This is very central near the Plaza de Mayo and the port on Defensa st. A rather run down cobbled st full of old world charm. You will need your key card to operate EVERYTHING! Not just your room door but the room lights, the lift, and the front door. The temperature control on the shower did not work and was realy hot. I was foolish enough to try and force it while fully clothed and turned the tap on! The bath was great but curiously " open plan " . The toilet and shower WERE behind a frosted glass door. I nearly had a heart attack passing what I thought was another alcove but was a reflexcion in the wardrobe full length mirror and encountered an " intruder" which was my own reflexcion!!

Great location, large rooms comfortable bed, just missed no kettle, tea coffee facilities in room. Most at reception spoke English & were helpful. Would have been good to have bar open to meet other travellers & share experiences & knowledge. Great breakfast supplied, some people took their own thermas to take hot drinks away at breakfast. Water expensive, cheaper at little supermarket across the road (only take pesco's) ATM around the corner- $9.30nz charge for cash out.
