Nice hotel terrible air con

The hotel is nice enough for a short stay. Quick check in with decent sized rooms and a good breakfast. The air con in the room was however terrible! It was unbearably hot in the room (it was 31 degrees outside at midnight) so we had a very bad night's sleep - the only cool place seemed to be the hotel reception so I was tempted to go sleep there!

Location right near the station as I had an early morning train to catch. The staff allowed me to check in at least two hours before the official time on arrival date which I really appreciated. As breakfast was included and my train was leaving early O mentioned that I would not be able to make it so they had a take away pack ready for me which was wonderful. Extremely positive and helpful staff.

Pleasant large hotel opposite the main station

Very pleasant business-type hotel right opposite the station: our room had a good view of the main square containing the grand station building and the large coloured fountains. Good continental-style breakfast on the top floor with fresh cappucino and local breakfast cakes, as well as cereals and savouries. Bari offers some places of great character at reasonable prices in the old town, but our flight arrives at the airport late, so we need somewhere with a 24 hour reception to be sure of having a bed for the night! I stayed here six months earlier and decided to come back.
