Location is great, right near the tube and gothic area, Staff are friendly. our room 207 was clean apart from the bed sheet that had a stain, that was crusty so it looked unwashed. I should of mention it to them so i can't really complain now about it. No coffee or drink making facilities at all. 1.50 for a tiny coffee from a machine- not good enough. Breakfast was a total let down for 11 euro pp. The selection of food was limited and poor quality/ quantity. Hence the 3 stars. shame as a few improvements and it would of been perfect. over all I'm happy for the price we paid for the room.

Poor customer service. On arrival hotel reception weren't friendly with no eye contact and then shouted "what's your name"! Unfortunately we broke a glass and carefully bagged all the pieces as we were worried about the maid cutting herself and took it to reception. After 2 days it hadn't been replace so asked reception around 8pm for a glass to be told the kitchen is closed!! Unfortunately today despite a do not disturb sign on the door we were woken around 8am with loud talking from workmen and the maid outside. This continued for the next 3 hours while maintenance work was carried out outside our room. Stripping walls and redecorating. We found the noise intolerable especially when their lighting equipment crashed against our door. There was no warning about this work and no apology untill we complained to the hotel reception. Shame great location but zero customer service. Won't be back! Pictures attached

Based on my experience with this hotel, I do not advise or recommend staying here- poor and unacceptable customer service. While searching for hotels in Barcelona, I came across a few travel hotel search sites that listed this hotel. I went to this hotels main website and found a lower rate than the travel hotel search sites. The hotel website advertised “Best Price Guarentee”, along with a complimentary welcome gift, early check in and free breakfast. I emailed this hotel if they would honor the lower price based on the “Best Price Guarentee”, and did not receive a response of any kind. I emailed again a few days later to two different emails found on their website- still no reply. I emailed a third time- no reply or acknowledge of any kind. Now it’s been a couple weeks and the dates of my travel are no longer available on the travel hotel search sites as well as the hotels website. This is unacceptable customer service to completely ignore and disregard customers emails on several attempts. I don’t understand the customer service nor would I recommend this hotel.

We booked the hotel through the travel agent and were not really sure what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. It was a great location, near to the Gothic area, El Born area and the Port. We felt it was safe. The staff was very helpful able to accommodate us with an early check in and also able to offer us the top floor with a small terrace. Very clean and updated with a breakfast buffet allowing us to head out exploring earlier!

We booked the hotel as part of a package with BA, for a 4 day break, and although the room was on the small side, it was absolutely spotless, well furnished and comfortable, and for the price we paid, good value. Front of house staff were all charming, spoke good English (unfortunately I don't have much Catalan, apart from the pleasantries) and checked us in very promptly. I did feel the breakfast was a little pricey (10 euros per person) so didn't use it - there are several cafes within a 2-3 minute walk, so we tried different ones each day. The hotel is easy to get to, with the metro 3-4 mins walk away, and the train station, about 5 mins. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel. It's an easy walk to the gothic quarter, the park, marina, Les Ramblas - in fact, quite easy to walk to most places (and I walk with a stick!) so a very good

We stayed here for one night we were made welcome by the Reception staff who spoke very good English. The hotel was comfortable and clean and the rooms were good we had a balcony overlooking the Plaza Palacio which was nice the Breakfast had a good range of choice something for everyone.

We stayed at the hotel to visit some family. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Gothic Quarter and the sea. Check-in was swift. I booked directly with the hotel and according to the hotel website, a free welcome gift awaits. When I queried this during the check-in, the staff had no idea what this referred to! I had no problem with this though as they were very friendly and polite. The room itself was fairly basic but of a good size. No tea/coffee making facilities and the safe requires a key/deposit from reception. The only English speaking channel was an American news channel. Buffet breakfast was quite plentiful with both hot and cold dishes.

Just a one night stay, but I was most impressed by this hotel. Many times I have stayed 1 or 2 nights in Barcelona in a variety of hotels all picked by tour operators as a starting point for a cruise holiday. Based on this previous expierience, I thought (wrongly) that Barcelona was a boring semi industrial wasteland. I now know different. This little hotel is a gem in an area of the city I had never seen before. The waterfront. and marina's /museum's/ pleasant eateries, made for my best ever stay in this city, and a wish to come back and see more of it. All 4th floor rooms in hotel have a generous roof terrace, fully equiped to enjoy the sun and the view. slightly shabby in some inconcequencial bits and pieces in room and bathroom, but I forgave all for the location. Slept well, staff were very pleasant. would use it again tomorrow!!!!

Excellent location, beside port , beach and handy for las rambles, beautiful rooms I got one with balcony with beautiful views and excellent to listen to parrots flying around the trees outside lovely side of Barcelona

Very nice boutique hotel around everything. We loved that your in the gothic area of Barcelona (close to marina). So many opportunities to explore the alleys & small roads of the gothic area with cute shops, cafes & restaurants. The hotel had good amount of space for their rooms in comparison to other hotels in Paris & around Europe. Staff is good & helpful. Only complaint would be the breakfast buffet. Don't waste 10 euros. Just go out to the many awesome restaurants/cafes around the hotel.
