We spent 4 nights at the hotel. We booked the basic category room, the room is a bit small, but the bed was super comfortable and clean. The location is not the most touristy, but everything was easily accessable.
Stayed for a weekend at the end of November for my birthday with my mum.. the location is excellent. The street is very residential and quickly you almost feel like a local. You can walk to Las Ramblas in 5-10 minutes and the nearest metro is around a 5 minute walk. The hotel is small but ideal for what we needed. The rooms are also quite small but again, this wasn't an issue for us. The rooms are nicely decorated & clean, ours came with a balcony which was a huge bonus. The receptionist was polite and welcoming as were all other staff we encountered during our stay. We had breakfast booked with the hotel which is the only element I feel could do with a bit of improving.. It's fine but very basic so we ended up mainly eating a ton of bread. More selection in fruit and other products other than bread would be helpful. All in all, a lovely comfortable stay in a brilliant location.
The hotel is located close to La Rambla street, you can also find a lot places to eat and/or drink around it. The rooms were very clean, though a bit small, the bed was big and comfortable. The staff was helpful and nice. I would totally recommend this place.
Our bed was SO COMFORTABLE was hard to leave!!! everything clean and spotless exactly what we needed. The facilities were all great. The gentleman working the reception on Sunday was so helpful and kind and really made our whole trip great, bless him thank you so much!
What a great hotel for a weekend break - The rooms are really clean meeting all basic needs... perfect room to sleep in and to get ready for exploring the beautiful city! Very impressed for the price too 👍
The details reflected attention to traveler concerns--open shelves by the sink, comfortable height shelf opposite the sink on which to open luggage, clothes rod & hangers above for a few items, shower was compact but great, night stands on sides of comfortable bed both had light controls & electrical outlets & adequate space for necessities on the table tops. Our next stay was in large expensive hotel & it seemed remarkably inconvenient in so many ways after Hotel Acta. Staff & breakfast were great!
Very nice location, clean room with small balcony. I got what I paid for. Reception speaks English, trying to help you. The place surrounded by many coffee shops, bikes renting stores and many local restaurants. No fridge.
Would highly recommend this hotel.. staff are very friendly and helpful.. we stayed in this hotel for one night as we were going on a cruise the following day as we were on our honeymoon and a lovely surprise was waiting for us in the room.
Great wee hotel for a short stay in this wonderful city. Pleasant, happy, helpful staff who spoke excellent English. Hotel is clean bright and very modern with all facilities required. We had a wee patio bit with tables and chairs to sit out on in the morning and evening. There is free computer access on the first floor in a quiet alcove. Breakfast is served in the brightly coloured basement where there also is a chillout are with TV, books and magazines. There is access to the coffee machine until 10.30pm. Breakfast is a huge selection of buffet style continental foods including gorgeous cake! The only downside to this hotel is that the walls seems very thin and conversation noise travels through from the reception to the ground floor rooms anyway. Could also hear people in the next room chatting loudly resulting in me knocking on their door at 1am! Other than that it is great and well located. 5 min walk from getting off the Aerobus.
Hotel Acta is in a great location. You step out into the street and feel like you're living in Barcelona. Lots of great restaurants and bars in this area. The hotel it's self is clean and the room is basic. The reason for the 3 star rating was the cost. It's a great basic room, but at over $Euro 780 for 4 nights, I had excepted something a bit more. If you can get a better price go for it.
