The property was reasonably clean, and the overall environment was fine. However, I had a major issue with the bed setup. I specifically requested a double bed, but was given two single beds joined together. While some hotels treat this as equivalent, it’s not the same. The mattresses constantly moved apart, making the bed unstable and uncomfortable. It completely defeats the purpose of a double bed—especially for couples. There’s no way to relax properly, let alone enjoy any intimacy in that setup. This was the very first time I’ve encountered such a situation in any hotel, and it was disappointing. A proper double bed should be one unified mattress, not two singles pretending to be one. This detail really matters, and unfortunately, it affected my stay.

It is nice small hotel. If you’re driving, it is cheaper hotel to go around Barcelona but if you’re commuting - I would not recommend. Taxi is around 60 euros one way. It is more than 1.5 hrs if taking transit and the long walk.

The hotel is actually not in Barcelona, it’s in Montmelo and takes about 2 hours in public transport and 45 minutes in taxi, very expensive. I would not recommend it for anybody going from the BCN airport or visiting attractions in Barcelona.
