Hotel with no staff at all

The place is all Tuscany like. The views from our room are gorgeus . The problems were too many. The room was sopposed to have a balcony , and it did not . There is a lot of confort missing in the room . Too dark inside at night , we had to keep moving lamps from the bedroom to the kitchen. The plastic shower curtain was too short so the bathroom floor flooded every time .We were supposed to be able to do our laundry but we could only talk to a lady after 8PM because she works some place else and she would not let me touch the wash machine , she would do the laundry herself along with her own clothes if we paid her. We tried to reach by phone but no one answered or if it did we had no help at all because they did not work there.

The very definition of a relaxing holiday!

If relaxation, peace and quiet, wonderful scenery and a 'get away from it all' holiday are what you are looking for this is the place for you. No phone in room, no wi-fi just a wonderful location and the generosity of the Coli family for sharing it with you. I travel extensively and stay in some excellent hotels but this was just what i needed.... relaxation with the family in idyllic surroundings. We all loved it and the pool and gardens are a good size and with only 5 other apartments rarely busy. Another plus is that you are just 25 minutes drive from the centre of Firenze and 40 minutes from Siena so right at the heart of Tuscany. Pisa is only an hour away. We hope to visit again next year.. and whilst we could only spend a week in Tuscany i feel as though I have been away for 3 weeks! Truly memorable.

TrĂšs joli domaine. En revanche, la piscine Ă©tait encore sous bĂąche d’hiver (ouverte Ă  partir du 15 mai). MĂȘme si nous ne comptions pas nous baigner aux vues de la mĂ©tĂ©o, c’est plus joli et agrĂ©able sans la bĂąche. Le jardin a Ă©tĂ© fait aprĂšs notre arrivĂ©e. L’accueil Ă©tait Ă©galement fermĂ©.

NĂ€rhet till natur och det genuina Italien

FamiljÀr vistelse, fint belÀgen men fantastisk utsikt över vinfÀlten. Hotellet var rustikt och lÀgenheterna hade all den utrustning som krÀvdes för sjÀlvhushÄll. Fin pool för svalkande dopp nÀr man befann sig pÄ hotellet. NÀrhet till Florens, Siena, San Gigminano, Volterra och smÄstÀderna i Chianti distrikten gjorde att utflykterna med bil inte behövde bli sÄ lÄnga och krÀvande. Mycket prisvÀrt hotell för de som vill sköta sig sjÀlv och gÀrna hoppar över "utelivet".

Fattoria mit Schönheitsfehlern

Gesamtanlage schön; allerdings war das 2-Z-Appartment nicht auf eine halbwegs vernĂŒnftige Zimmertemperatur zu bekommen - und zu Ostern 2010 war es noch nicht so warm, dass einem das egal sein konnte. Die WC-SpĂŒlung funktinoierte nicht; hĂ€ndisch musste man fĂŒr den Wasserzufluss sorgen - nicht so gut. Der zugesagte Installateur kam nicht. Die WĂ€nde zum Nachbarappartment sind so dĂŒnn, dass man die Unterhaltung der Nachbarn mitverfolgen kann - und die EssensgerĂŒche ebenfalls.
