If you need a break from the buzz of Madrid or just a chill stop on your way east, Hotel Ballestar is a great pick. Only an hour’s drive from the city, it’s peaceful and scenic — perfect for unwinding. The rooms are spacious and comfy, with balconies and amazing sunset views. The whole place feels warm and welcoming, like a home away from home. Close by, there’s the charming town of Tarancón and the Segóbriga Archaeological Park with its impressive Roman theater — definitely worth a visit. The hotel’s restaurant serves tasty local food at good prices. In short, Ballestar isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a cozy spot you’ll want to come back to.

From entering the reception area there was a stench of a toilet. Shower was dirty. I would definitely not suggest anyone stay here.

Detta boende är verkligen inte vad det lovar, det ligger mer eller mindre i ett slumområde, det finns inte ens en reception, trots att det står att det är öppet dygnet runt, man får gå in i en bar bredvid och checka in. Receptionen är fylld av gamla madrasser och ett stort hål i väggen. Området känns mycket bedagat och osäkert, mystiska figurer stryker omkring med stora vagnar med sopor det är verkligen inte ett bra hotell som elen verkar vara kopplad så att det lyser mellan plattorna i taket när man tänder i badrummet, in i stora rummet. Det stod att det skulle ingå vatten i flaskor på boendet, det fanns det inte när man kom dit Jag skulle gärna haft pengarna tillbaka på detta boende, eftersom det inte överhuvudtaget överensstämmer med beskrivningen.
