birthday ski
two things. i would have appreciated the ice/snow being removed from the steps as it made it very hard to get luggage in until i removed it myself with a shovel.the other thing dirty/clean dishes were left in the dishwasher which was an inconvenience and completely unexpected. I've never stayed in a rental that left dishes that i had to deal with.

Nice Location
We had a great time! I would say it was a little expensive for what it was. It was secluded, but still close to Boone. There was decaf coffee but no regular coffee which was a little disappointing. The house cleaners also leave an envelope for tip which was off putting considering the cleaning fee is so high. Other than that it was great. The house was clean, and plenty of room for my husband and me. It has 3 private bedrooms. It’s up a gravel hill, so 4 wheel drive is definitely needed in winter weather.

Absolutely Wonderful!
This cabin was amazing! We enjoyed everything about it. The beautiful and warm den has an amazing stone fireplace with a view of the mountains that is just so relaxing. The main bedroom is spacious, has a very comfortable bed, and very nice private bathroom with what looks to be recent upgrades. The upstairs loft has an open space that is well used with a pull out couch, a mini foosball table, and, again, a beautiful view of the mountains. The upstairs bedroom is also very spacious with a desk that could be used in many different ways. As you move through the den into the kitchen you have a wonderful dinning table that seats plenty. The kitchen has everything you need with a nice mix of appliances that will make for a comfortable visit. The downstairs is accessible through a staircase that has a door that can be closed for privacy. The downstairs bedroom is also very spacious with a gameroom opposite its entry. The gameroom has a pool table, TV, board games, chess table, and a full sized washer and dryer. There is also a door for direct access to the outside.
Outside the cabin, the property is just as nice. The porch wraps around 3 sides of the property with a set of stairs that leads to a walkable path leading to a nice little stream. On the side of the porch accessed from the kitchen and dining room is a hot tub for about 5 adults. There are chairs allowing for a peaceful view of the mountains and a grill to cook for the masses.
The cabin is just awesome!
