The staff was great and helpful, the hotel was clean and comfortable, the scenery was amazing, was reasonably priced. Hopefully I will be able to stay again someday.

Pros: Right by the ocean, incredible view from our room, close to Old Town Bandon and the viewpoints and sights! We appreciate and are glad we stayed at the property for these reasons :) Now for the cons: Room was in *very* poor condition, stained carpet, beds were sinking in, dusty surfaces, no AC which is ok but only one tiny and very dusty fan to help with cooling and air flow, room doesn’t have a mini refrigerator or microwave. I understand paying $160 for the incredible view and location, and to me for the cost the room it should also be decent and in better condition. Staying here next time we’re in Bandon will be a last resort.

The room was NOT at all as expected. The room was extremely musty and dark, no windows and one sliding door that had no screen. The rug was stained, the bedding, along with anything else in the room was OLD, dirty and outdated. We asked for another room stating we could not stay in the room from how bad it smelled. The gentleman said he has gotten the same complaints and offered us the conference room. When he brought us to this room there were two unmade beds and the smell was no better. The beach view was the ONLY thing going for this place. I hope in the future the owners make the necessary upgrades because this place could be a goldmine.

Our room was facing the ocean and beautiful rock formations. The beds were comfortable enough. The building seems old but worth it for the view.

We loved the pet friendly studio we had with beautiful views of the beach right from our sliding glass doors. The rooms were very well insulated and quiet however there are 6 rooms next to eachother and where the front door IS the sliding glass door, you don't get a view and privacy. Everyone was very courteous but it did feel a little awkward at times walking by folks sitting on the "patio" just to get in and out of our room. The walk to the beach was easy and convenient (although involves a lot of stairs) and is one of my favorite beachs in all of Oregon's coast. The hotel has a really sweet history as well as it is family owned. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip.

I’m shocked that this place hasn’t been shut down due to health code violations. Needs to promptly be demolished. It’s in an unsafe and disgusting state of disrepair. Painting over black mold is NOT maintenance! There is no ventilation in the rooms, so they’re dark and damp on a good day.

Not what is sold

I am sure there are good rooms in this hotel, but ours was not one of them. It was old, tired, cramped, hot, had no privacy and gave every impression that it was unclean. It is in need of a huge remodelling. The views are spectacular but that does not make up for what should be a wonderful opportunity to view the sunset. We only had one chair and there is no space on the communal walkway to sit and enjoy the view. The bathroom contained rusty metal and the air vents are clearly in need of replacement.

We love to listen to ocean at night. Windows had not screens. Room was not equipped with box fan. Breakfast was a joke. With that said we do like staying with you. Just need a few upgrades.
