Amelie, the host, was fantastic! She made us feel so comfortable and welcome as soon as we met. She spoke English, but would entertain my attempts at a few French words, and even help me learn some new ones. Our room overlooked the ‘golf’ and had a sleeping loft. We stayed two nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The breakfast was nice and simple. Pretty typical French breakfast. The best part was being right on the beach. It was just outside of the hotel with chaise lounge chairs, umbrellas, and refreshments for an additional fee. It was well worth it! Such a relaxing stay. We walked to the town promenade each night for shopping and dinner. The town shops and restaurants stayed open late, so we spent the day on the beach and late into the evening people watching, eating great food, and enjoying the French Mediterranean coast. I would highly recommend staying here!

Excellent spot right on the Renecros Bay. Very good value for money. Friendly staff. Only downside was no elevator and the stairs were a struggle with heavy suitcases but we knew that when we booked and not the hotel's fault

our stay was ok but from the pictures and location you would presume the hotel has outside space ,not really breakfast must be taken inside and there is no direct access to the beach,you need to go out the side of the hotel and walk round ,the downstairs sees restraint seems separate

Great Location on the beach!

Amazing location right on the beach and very close to town. Beach view room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was not great, very limited for the price. It was better to go into town. Also, we had difficulty checking out as only the owner is allowed to do it and he works limited hours. It delayed us in getting back to Lyon even though we has told them we needed to leave early the next morning.

charming beachfront hotel

Hotel is in an amazing position directly overlooking a picturesque beach, just a short walk from the main seafront part of town. Gorgeous views from the terrace. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable beds. Soundproofing not great - we had a group of men on a stag night next door, talking, laughing all night, but I would imagine this was an unusual booking as it seems like a family kind of hotel. Teenage kids loved it and had the table tennis in the courtyard to keep them busy. The family suite had enough space and was very comfortable overall. Huge patio windows in the double room only had privacy curtains so not lightproof at all. Breakfast not included and perhaps a little pricey. The overall feel is maybe a bit dated, but doesn't detract from its charm. Own hotel parking a big plus. We would definitely go back.

Hidden Charges, odor from drain

Bad oder coming from sink drain. floor gritty. hallways and stair covered in sand. Stench was so bad, tried to find other hotel but no vacancies. Checkin, no information given on wifi or hidden charges. No help with luggage, no lift. Had to request map. Restaurant advertised (open Daily), not open when I arrived but only on weekend. Surcharge mentioned for extra beds and breakfast but NOT for use of beach - hefty (3x more than other private beaches charge NON-GUESTS). wifi available only through an advertising site. if left all information (already getting spam) and watched adverts then there was wifi for 5 minutes and then it cut off. it is on the beach but far out of town; there is absolutely nothing near - must walk 25 minutes back into town for coffee, drink or food. It does advertise being close to town and train station - (odd, I passed every other listed hotel on my way to this one that advertised being much closer). nothing available in hotel which was more of a residence - no one at reception - had to ring to checkin/out, no one to ask questions of. must enter a digicode to get in at night. no hairdryer. Nearly everything about this hotel on website is false information. Comments show this hotel is liked - I don't get it. Bandol is such a nice place I guess people will put up with anything.

Nice

Nice hotel which genuinely is on the beach. It would have been nice to have tea or coffee facilities in the room, or the hotel. Maybe because it is out of season but there was no bar or restaurant. The breakfast was good, although a little on the expensive side at 11 Euros.
