Campanile Toulon - La Seyne Sur Mer - Sanary

Once you've found the place, which isn't as easy as you think as my booking didn't give a street address, it's great. The staff are really friendly and helpful, especially Carine. They let me leave my blue ice cubes in the freezer overnight for example. The AC is super cold, and the wifi is free and pretty good. The parking is locked at night (but accessible with a code) and there is a supermarket a short drive way. It's not too far from Toulon, but it is a 10 minute drive.

Basic hotel next to Sanary where all hotels were fully booked. A little, out of the way in an industrial area. Small room but quiet, air conditioned, good beds and a functional bathroom. Working wifi and a good breakfast for a reasonable price. Adequate parking facilities which were free

New style of campanile ,always CHANGING The bedroom& building fine and clean, stairs only for this room arrived at 8 o'clock hotel full advice is to check room before entering for cleanliness , discovered later that inner door would not stay closed ,otherwise nice experience with good service of front desk at a fair price

Good place to stay if you are passing through -- or for work. Its a bit out of the town centre -- 1hour walk or 15mins by bike. Friendly, helpful staff. Despite being close to main road, the rooms are quiet with door and window shut. Comfortable, clean place to stay and enough room. Internet was a bit slow. Preferred Campanile to Ibis just across the road. (stay eat each place for 4 nights each while I was in Toulon working). Both were fine about me keeping my mountain bike in my room. Good breakfasts too, 9euro50.

This is a basic and dated motel located between the motorway and an industrial estate. You would not want to stay here unless you had a car and it is really only fit for purpose as somewhere to sleep at the end of the day. It has good Wifi in the rooms but other than that it is about as basic in the rooms as you can get. Friendly staff and a secure car park. Nothing is within walking distance from this hotel.

Campanile says it's changing along with our desires according to their website. Maybe I don't get it quite right, but they don't really change according our desires: Even if we said the "chambre est bien" (the room is good) and didn't require cleaning, they cleaned the room and left new sweets everyday. Maybe my French is bad - but a nice clean bed sleeps good. They clean well, very well. What is rubbish will - emphasize that: will - disappear, even if you wanted to use it (e.g. empty bottles you wanted to fill with water to take along). The staff speaks French and "a little" English. That's for the reception staff. The cleaning staff speaks hardly English. A small travel dictionary about hotels and Google Translate can help you talk to the cleaners. Ow yeah and they come every day at 0900 to check if you are still having your holiday beauty sleep. If you do, they nicely shut the door again and wait till you're awake. When you're awake they ask you when they can clean the room - and don't bother trying to say in French that's not required, they'll do it anyway. The television is French. It's got French television and has this nice option to change the language. This option is also French: It doesn't change the language at all. The television has a nice set of ports so when you don't speak French and you would like to see something, take your own stuff you can connect to this TV (like a laptop or so). Another thing here is WiFi: Since sometime Campanile Hotels seem to have WiFi. The speed of it is a bit disappointing - for calling over WiFi (VoiP) this is just inadequte. Another thing is the login to the WiFi service: You will need your room number and your surname, or your reservation number. When you click "Entrer" it welcomes you with a nice message. But when you start using other apps on your phone for example, the connection will sometimes reset, leaving you with bugged apps and frustrations. I tried finding a pattern in this behaviour but failed - so good luck if you really need a reliable connection. This Campanile location has a nasty thing: An Airco machine on the side. When you get room 8, ask for another. Other rooms should be fine, but this machine does definitely make a lot of noise. Rest of the noises: You can hear the motorway when you want to, but it's definitely not disturbing. There are three plugs in the room: 2 near the tv, 1 in the bathroom. Be adviced: They are suitable for flat plugs only! No complaints or other weird things noticed. Beds are good, towels present, nice clean cups in plastics everyday, a water boiler, a bathroom heater, sweets on the bed when you arrive - even if you didn't ask for it. Nice if you haven't got much requirements :)
