I needed a cheap hotel for one night on a flying visit in winter - well I got it although for the standard of this hotel 62 euros was about 56 euros over charging. The only positive comment I could make is the situation - if you were there for a holiday (poor you) it was right in front of the sea. Horrid haul up three flights of stairs that reminded me of a post ww2 film, narrow, dingy and depressing - to a room that made the reception and stairs look good. nasty little room with two beds the mattresses of which must have been at the very least 20 years old, nasty old blanket and bedspread. Hardly room to swing a cat. The smallest television I have ever seen high up on wall as otherwise you would have hit your head on it as you walked past the room is so small. the bathroom was a disgrace - nasty area, stained bath, half broken shower, no plug in the sink and you have to squeeze down a little corridor to the separate toilet (within the bathroom) and could hardly turn round to shut the door it was so small. opposite this, still inside the bathroom, you have a dingy nasty wardrobe if you could call it that. This is the only place you could put your clothes if staying longer. There is no furniture in the room itself other than beds and bedside table. So your clothes are in this dingy space with no doors so if you did take a bath or shower they would be completely open to the steam. That is if you can get hot water. I had to run the tap for over 5 minutes to get hot water - I have to say this is the very first time I have faced a day without a shower - I could not bring myself to step into that bath! Didnt really matter for me as was on flying visit but avoid at all costs if on you can imagine there was no way I was going to even think of eating breakfast in this dump.

It is a nice hotel but unfortunately we discovered bloodstains and little bugs in the bed. The bugs appeared to be bedbugs! We did get another room immediately, where unfortunately the wi-fi did not work. The hotel should really change their mattresses and get the place cleaned very good. The place was not very tidy. The carpet was old, dirty and had a lot of holes in it. The breakfast which-for we paid 9€ per person was somehow poor and not really worth it. We only had it once, and had breakfast at a near boulangerie the next days. The location of the hotel is very nice. But they really really need to do some work and fix their hygiene.

I had made a reservation for a room with sea view for 2 nights. Upon arrival we noticed bugs in our bed, not bed bugs but the really big type. I caught one of them and brought it down to reception, after which we were upgraded to a nicer room with seaview. When we came back from dinner we were told that we had been relocated to a different room which did not have sea view because the owner didn't want us to stay there (probably because she could rent that room for more money than we had initially paid). Apparently the hotel just had undergone a bed bug extermination, which I only found out afterwards. And my partner is having a heavy allergic reaction on her skin with bites all over her legs and arms that look like bug bites. When I asked the owner for a compensation she said in a very unkind tone that she would give us a free breakfast (which btw is a ripoff for 9 euros). Furthermore, the carpet on the floor is rotten at several places and our room smelled like someone had smoked inside. There were also many moskitos which prevented us from having a good night of sleep.

Excellent location just in front of the beach. Convenient free parking. We were at second floor with a beautiful view Best value for the money considering that the hotel has two stars. The only negative point is that there is no elevator and the stair is narrow.

In the night when we put the light on the wall and the bed was full with bedbugs, so disgusting, never ever again! We tried to kill them but they were behind every picture or mirror at the wall. We couldn't sleep any more(also because the noisy club 20m away) and in the morning also by daylight the bugs were walking on the wall. And the stuff in this hotel is so unfriendly!

Was very pleasantly surprised at this hotel after reading reviews on here. Went with advice to choose sea view room and it did not disappoint! Right on the beach, a short walk along the shore to the bars and restaurants. Receptionist very friendly young girl, room was very clean, despite seeing photos of the bathroom separated from bedroom by paper wall we were pleased to see our room was a real wall! Perfect 33 degrees weather in middle of October! Can't wait to go back!

Stayed here summer 2012 for few days. Booked again for few days 2014. Great position across road from beach. Comfortable clean rooms. Good value. Surprised at the negative reviews. Beach across road is sandy and water clean. Beach cafés have all facilities-- sun beds with service etc etc. restaurants and great ice cream at Sanary , a fifteen minute seaside walk.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights - it's on a main road which is noisy. The rooms are not at all soundproofed so you will hear people walking downstairs and also talking in the next room like they are in your room. Bathroom was part of the main room so you sit on the loo but about 2 ft from the bed with no partition. Shower gel and soap not provided. Breakfast very poor value - really really poor!!!

We came arcross this area by accident and we are so glad we did. This hotel was the only one with any vacancies on the afternoon we arrived. It is located right opposite the beach with glorious views. We unfortunately had a room at the back but it was clean and very comfortable. A delicious breakfast was taken out on the terrace while looking at the ocean and passing parade. There are a number of very good restaurants nearby the hotel and staff were friendly and helpful. This goes on our list of places we must visit again and stay longer. Loved the area!

Small 2 star hotel near the beach with the beautiful Sanary-sur-mere on a walking distance. Some rooms are in an awful state. Other are quite OK with nice new bathrooms. See the rooms first before you confirm your booking! The ladies at the reception and at breakfast are really doing their best. Their boss and the owner of the hotel (a red haired middle aged lady) is a nightmare though. She bullies her staff and is actually really rude to the guests. We made some arrangements by mail and she simply told us that they were not made by her. She doesnt speak one word English and even in French she won't listen. Absolutely unbebelievable. Try to avoid her. She works behind the reception from 8am to 3 pm.
