The accommodation is spread over the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors with a bright and spacious living area overlooking the harbor and an open connection to the kitchen. The round dining table and sofa area comfortably seat up to 6 people - Smart TV with Netflix. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, extractor fan, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.



The 3rd floor has 2 cozy bedrooms, each with two beds, both with water views and seating to enjoy the scenery. There is also a large, spacious bathroom with a shower.



The 4th floor features an open loft bedroom with the most stunning views and 2 sleeping spaces, which can be arranged as two single beds or a double bed.

From the windows, you can enjoy views of the harbour and the beautiful Småland Sea. Step outside and you’re just a few metres from the beach, the historic bathing pier with changing facilities and a waterslide, and the charming harbour environment.



Right across the street is the iconic Bandholm Badehotel, where guests can purchase breakfast, lunch, and dinner — and even book spa and sauna experiences for an extra touch of luxury.



Possibility of light grocery shopping in Bandholm and cafe sales. Shops and restaurants etc. in Maribo, which is 10 minutes away by car or bus.



Knuthenborg Safari Park is only minutes away, and the area also offers attractions such as Dodekalitten, Maribo Cathedral, Crocodile Zoo, the Medieval Centre, and scenic walking routes. From Kragenæs harbor you can sail to the 3 islands of Fejø, Femø and Askø, which offer gastronomic experiences.



From Rødbyhavn you can go on a shopping trip to Germany (Rødby - Puttgarden - Round trip) by purchasing a cheap 1-day ticket via Scandlines.



Short info about Knuthenborg Safari Park. Today, the park is Northern Europe's largest safari park. The safari park is home to over 1,000 animals. The animals live in areas that mimic their natural habitats. Dinosaur Forest – a 30,000 m² forest with over 20 lifelike dinosaur models and fossils. The Evolution Museum exhibits real skeletons. Limpopoland is the park's large play area with Denmark's largest nature and water playground.



Maribo Museum Railway runs vintage trains during the summer between Maribo and Bandholm. Also see Bandholm train station, which has been featured in several feature films.



It is possible to rent bicycles at the harbor in Bandholm, and the bus runs between Maribo, Bandholm, and Kragenæs Harbor (Bus no. 725).



From Kragenæs Harbor – 20 km from Bandholm – you can sail to the Apple Islands, which consist of Fejø, Femø, and Askø-Lilleø. In the summer, you might be lucky enough to see playful porpoises on the boat trip and maybe seals in the harbor. The Apple Islands offer good conditions for growing apples. On Fejø and Askø-Lilleø, you will find large apple orchards – while on Femø there are smaller apple gardens. Here, you can find roadside stalls selling fruit and vegetables, charming villages, farm shops, small eateries, cafés, local inns, and beautiful nature. There are bus connections from Bandholm to Kragenæs and the possibility of renting bicycles to experience the islands.
