We all had an amazing 3 night stay , made full use of the swimming pool, tennis court and badminton, what a beautiful place to relax for a few days , plenty of towels for the pool and bathroom, we also loved the snooker table, I would recommend this place to anyone, thank you so much, check in was a breeze

Incredible host and such a lovely house! The swimming pool was lovely and warm and a real treat, as well as the heated blankets on the bed. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommended this to anyway looking for a peaceful retreat.

Weekend with friends

Weekend meet up with University pals… Peters place was a great place for the three of us to cook, eat, drink and also have some fun in the pool, at the snooker table, and on the tennis court! The place had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. Peter was friendly and helpful. The house is well suited for some beautiful areas for driving or cycling, and country pubs a plenty. Thanks Peter!

Perfect get away

Lovely place for peaceful get away, kids could run around garden playing tennis, badminton (equipment all there) and then pool time. We had great fun splashing around in our own private swimming pool. Kitchen well equipped and smart tv so everyone entertained after swimming. Host was great, nice welcome then left us to it, we had a great time.

Peace and quiet

This was a last minute trip to visit my grandson and this was the only property that I was able to find close to my son’s home in San Tan Valley. The property was in a lovely neighborhood and the garden and coy pond were very relaxing and peaceful. I was unable to open the gate the first night but was able to talk to Liz and she unlocked the gate. The space was smaller than what I thought as I’ve never stayed in a casita before. There was a pull down Murphy bed with a couple of chairs. No couch. The kitchenette was very small as well as the bathroom and shower. I usually buy food for breakfast and like to have a refrigerator. Unfortunately on the last two days my milk, fruit and cheese completely froze in the refrigerator and I was unable to make breakfast on the last day and had to trow it out. It was a good stay.

It's a lovely bungalow, bigger than the pictures make it appear. Beds very comfy. Peter was communicative and helpful. We did find the pool house a bit chilly at the end of October for casual swimming but it would be fine if you're swimming for fitness.

Had an absolutely amazing time here and can not wait to return.We loved everything about the property, such an excellent place for 3 16 year old girls and their mothers to celebrate their special birthdays.The pool was obviously a huge hit, but everything else was perfect too. The location was fab, really tranquil with squirrels and rabbits in the garden, however an M&S foodhall was within a 7 minute drive for supplies. The Chinese takeaway we had delivered from Mings was a real treat.To top it off, Peter was a fabulous host, we felt so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for him.Breaks away really don't get much better than this, we made some magical memories during our weekend here.Highly recommend this property!

We were a group of 4 friends who met at University (a long time ago!).We’re spread across the country so this location just off the M40 was ideal. The facilities are great. Where else can you find the exclusive use of a tennis court, swimming pool and a snooker table?! The owner’s communication before and during our stay were first class. Check-in was very easy.No issues at all and you can safely ignore other reviews about the motorhomes causing parking problems -they are blocked parked down the side of the house and off the road. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

Great facilities!

3 friends and I stayed at Peter’s property for 2 nights in July 2025 in order to attend race day of the F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. The property was exactly as listed and we were able to make good use of the facilities there. We didn’t need to communicate with Peter before or during our stay but were provided with details of how to do so should we need to. Also Alexander lives next door who we were told would be happy to help us too. We had a great weekend and were really happy with our accommodation.A couple of things about the property we weren’t sure of until arrival (but didn’t seem important enough to ask in advance!) - there was a hand towel, bath towel and pool towel left for each guest (thank you!). The BBQ is gas so no need for charcoal. Cleaning supplies for kitchen & bathroom (incl dishwasher tablets & washing machine pods) were provided. There was also tea & coffee. There were tennis rackets & balls too!There were a fair few cobwebs / spiders in the property. I found 3 drowned spiders in the pool. The BBQ had not been cleaned after last use.To get to Silverstone (in case any others are considering the same itinerary) we uber’d to Banbury train station (local taxis were booked up - should’ve thought of that!) and had pre-booked the Silverstone shuttle bus. We stayed there until the end of the headliner set then shuttle bus’d & got a taxi from the station’s taxi rank. Worked well for us, we missed most of the traffic and I would recommend.

Relaxing short break

This is a lovely place. Incredibly spacious, quiet, and situated perfectly to explore the Cotswolds. The amenities are amazing (we made very good use of the indoor pool - ideal given the heatwave during our visit) and the location is really beautiful. Communication with the hosts was clear and welcoming - we'd love to come back.

Some aspects disappointing

We enjoyed using the facilities at the property However we were disappointed with the lack of privacy as we were surrounded by approximately 20 motorhomes/cars making parking our car tricky and people constantly being on site (walking past our bedroom windows) and blocking the driveway - this was not shown in any advertising photographs The overall cleanliness was poor including a very dirty frying pan & chopping board (we didn't use them)very thick dirt and dust on pipework and chairs.We had to ask for extra cleaning around the pool areaIt's a nice property in a lovely area but could do with some TLC/updating Peter, the owner, was very responsive and helpful

Highly Enjoyable Stay!

We had a lovely stay in the country house, enjoying the seclusion and its wonderful amenities. It's brilliantly equipped with everything you need, including pool towels.The location is only a 9-10 minute drive to the centre of Banbury.Peter is a tremendous host and his super quick responses ensure your time here will be a profoundly pleasant one.

Lovely accommodation with excellent leisure facilities. Having exclusive use of the Pool was great. Full size snooker table was a novelty. Use of the piano was a real bonus. Owner was extremely accommodating. Arriving at the property was a little daunting as the owner stores his excess stock of motor homes on site. It makes for a very busy driveway! Only very slight niggle….. Wish the television had worked properly. Would certainly recommend though
