Chalet Araucária (Chalet 1) - Serra da Bocaina, Bananal SP

The Chalés da Bocaina, located in the Serra da Bocaina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are perfect getaways for those who need to rest and disconnect from the big cities and work, where you can fully experience the nature around you.

Pleasant location, on the banks of the Paca River, surrounded by green areas. The rooms are furnished and equipped with appliances, utensils, trousseau and other essential items for your stay and meal preparation. The region is surrounded by the beauty of the Atlantic Forest, rich in native flora and fauna, with trails, springs, rivers of crystal clear water and the most beautiful waterfalls.

Access to the chalets is by car via the SP-247 road, paved until the entrance to the chalets (km 24.8). Coming from Rio de Janeiro, by Pres. Dutra, take exit 273 (Bananal); SP-64 (Highway Álvaro Brasil Filho, former Highway Rescue); SP-68 (Rodovia dos Tropeiros); SP-247.

ARRANGEMENTS OF CHALETS:

1. First Floor:
- Balcony
- Living room, with sofa bed, 2 chairs, side tables, dining table with 4 chairs, 32 "flat screen TV with open channels;
- Kitchen, with cabinets, stove, refrigerator, microwave, blender, electric coffee maker, set of pots, dishes, crockery and cutlery for 4 people;
- Toilet;
- Closet / pantry.

2. Second floor:
- Comfortable room, all in wood, with small balcony, double bed, bedside tables with lamps, closet and dresser;
- Compact reversible room (ideal for office, study room or closet);
- Bathroom with water heated by boiler;
- Trousseau for up to 4 people (complete bed and bath linen).

The entire chalet and all rooms are available.
It has a grassy outdoor area where you can sunbathe, contemplate the river, do meditation or yoga. Non-smoking environment.

In Serra da Bocaina and Chalés there is no cell phone signal (no operator) or internet. We have wi-fi in our office located about 1km from the chalets. Most local restaurants also offer wi-fi for their customers.

Serra da Bocaina is a rural area, surrounded by forests. The nearest urban center is 25 km from Chalés, the historic city of Bananal, SP, which has a Health Post, bank branches (Banco do Brasil, Bradesco and Santander), a gas station, grocery stores, bars, snack bars, restaurants, local produce stores, handicrafts and other businesses.

About 1 km from the chalets, there is a small market where you can buy some basic items. In the region there are some restaurants, such as Chez Bruna (SP 247, Km 28) and Estalagem da Bocaina (SP 247, Km 26), which usually work all day and usually until 10 pm (consult in advance).

For those who like adventure, it is possible to rent kayaks and stand up boards at Kayak da Bocaina, on the lake located about 1 km away (book in advance).

Serra da Bocaina is the ideal environment for those who like trails, waterfalls and direct contact with nature!
