Our stay at the Salthouse was the highlight of our tour of N Ireland. The setting with the most amazing views, the standard of food and service and the decor were all amazing.only minus point was the ‘duo’ playing in the bar in evening. (18.30-20.00) Tuneless! However the guitarist later on was brilliant! In all one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at! Food was first class AND there’s 3 resident cats in the grounds.

On my last night in Northern Ireland I stayed at the Salthouse. After a busy week visiting family and sightseeing this was a welcome balm for my soul. The view from the property was outstanding. The room was excellent and the breakfast served was the very best Not the place to miss!

It was our class get together and we wanted 30 plus rooms. The booking process was clear and easy. This is beautiful, aesthetic yet simplistically designed clean property, eco friendly ( have their own wind mill!!) with wonderful staff and provision of eco-homes as well as rooms. Wonderfully perched atop a hillock with fabulous views. Rooms are ample sized with good sized toilet and wonderful local soaps and shampoo. Both restaurants on site are good, great for a relaxed dinner or a fast food with pizza, pasta and drinks. Breakfast is really good with excellent tasty options. Chef, serving staff are friendly and courteous, and simply excellent. Easy to drive to causeway, rope bridge and walk to Ballycastle beach with its unique estuary ( walking back has steep gradient as the hotel is on the top of the hill). Excellent for wedding, class or family get together or a family break ( can use eco homes). 45 minutes to Belfast International airport ( City airport is nearly hour and a half). Try coastal drive at least once. Thank you The Salthouse team, keep the standards up.

This hotel is everything and more, from the check-in to checkout was great, the rooms are spacious and spotless. The restaurant and bar is amazing. The choice of food and drinks on offer fantastic. The breakfast included in the price is unbelievable, so good we are going back next year.

Beautiful location

This is a beautiful, modern hotel in a stunning location with great views. The decor and furnishings are lovely and very stylish. Our room was very big and very well decorated. The breakfast was excellent and served in a different way. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
