Disliked: Cleanliness
Pictures look better than the reality. Positives were it was close to the beach and the owner was lovely and friendly. However, Milkwood is the loft aprtment right at the top of this divided house. From the parking space to get to the apartment was a challenge. You are going through a garden with uneven surfaces to finally coming to a steep set of stairs. If you have a lot of luggage like us, this is not ideal. The worst part was the cockroaches. Huge ones in the bathroom, bedroom and even one in the bed one morning. Although it claims there are 2 bathrooms, this is false. The main bathroom is in the main bedroom up the stairs. there is an additional toilet and wash basin downstairs. Something to keep in mind if you do have more than 2 people staying. Tons of mosquitoes as well. Even though we closed all the windows, the ones right at the top of the lounge are unreachable which let the little buggers in. All in all, we would not stay here again especially for that price, we would have gotten better places.
