Stayed with my wife for 3 nights in UG, and all our experiences were positive with regards to the facilities, service and staff. As we stayed for 3 nights we were offered a free pickup from Airport and it was such a relief considering we ended up very late in Bali and high inflow of tourists owing to Chinese new year holiday season. We had a list of places to visit and ended up hiring the car from the UG for one full day and one half day trips. Decent cars and professional drivers with manageable English were more than adequate for our requirement. The restaurant staff were more than happy to meet our food requirement as they have very limited vegetarian options on the menu. When my wife fell sick, the reception staff helped in locating and arranging a quick visit at a very short notice and can't thank enough. All the staff are friendly and yet professional with a smile at all times and IMHO this is their biggest plus point.
I like to environment of the hotel. a lot of good services from the staff and nice facility. But, i think they need to clean the room more detail especially in every corner. If you look for a good place to escape from the busy environment, you can try this one. oh, one more thing. the have very helpful staff. Great Response.
This was my first time ever staying in a place like this. We stayed in Bumi 1 and then moved to Apah 1 for one night. They are not the cleanest. The tables were dirty, the controllers (TV and A/C), lights switches, and faucets look like they have never been cleaned. I suggest bringing some disinfectant wipes like I did. The pools are not the cleanest either, but the water is cold so it’s refreshing after a long day of being out. The food was good. We had multiple lunches and dinners, and the complimentary breakfast had good variety. The free shuttle is really nice!! We didn’t take advantage of the spa, but it looked nice. I would recommend this place.
This is our first time visiting Bali, my family and i, we chose this hotel to stay for the whole trip. We had a real great time in the resort, the breakfast was really nice, freshly cooked everyday. The villa was wonderful, suitable for small family. We definitely return back soon
Perfect hotel, clean , free shuttles, private pool, welcome drink, and free 15 min spa, i really recommend this hotel very friendly staff and a good breakfast they gave us a free meal also which was great thank you for the best 2 nights
We stayed at Ubud Green Resort Villas from 22-26 Dec. Its a small resort consisting of 16 villas in simplex and duplex combinations with some of them having private pools. True to its name it was full of greenery every where. Its 2kms away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud Palace area in very quite setting. We stayed at Bayu 1, a single floor villa with a private pool. Its basically 3 separate rooms, a double bed room, a single bed room and a living cum dining room, connected with a pathway open to sky. The shower area of master bedroom was also open to sky. Living room was huge and also had a kitchenette with hotplate and cutlery. Backside of living opened to the private pool and view of rice fields. The villa also had a small Jacuzzi, which we never tried. Towels and bedding was fresh and clean. They have a great staff, who were very courteous and helpful. Now coming to the issues. For us the main issue was a few black hairy caterpillars crawling into the rooms. They were probably common in a tropical setting but it was not a good feeling. The second issue was breakfast. It was ala carte and limited. We could order only one item from the menu along with a juice and a coffee or tea. Of course a special mention should made about the fresh juices they blended before us without sugar. We zeroed in on this property after going through trip advisor and other booking aggregators but contacted them directly and got a better deal than booking site. If not for the deal and staff, I would have dropped it three stars because of the issues. The property has great potential if the they overcome these shortcomings and I would still recommend this for any wishing to stay at calm location in Ubud
The villa is beautiful and the pool is a killer. The staff are perfectly nice. I wanted to love this oasis but I could not sleep in either rooms because of a very strong mildew smell. We asked the lady who booked us there to call the front desk but they never came to give us any options. I slept on the couch all 4 nights but the cushions smelled as well. Also the cleanliness is not great. There are multiple dark spots around the bathroom and the living room wasn’t cleaned under the table and couches. I would use the word substandard for this place even though there is so much potential there.
We chose Ubud Green as our first stop in Bali and it was the best decision to choose this place. We stayed at Bhumi Villa and it was exceptional. Full marks for the Cleanliness, Room Service & Ameneties...though it needs some improvements like the bathroom fittings working properly
We stayed for two nights in one of the villas with a picturesque view overlooking the rice fields. The private pool was a mini tropical oasis, while the included breakfast was fantastic as well, with sweeping views of the neighboring rice farms. Our room was so comfortable that we wanted to stay in and just relax at the pool, despite all the great sites and activities around Ubud. Side note - try to get laundry done elsewhere, as that was surprisingly expensive.
Free shuttle to Ubud downtown was convenient but also the free cell phone to use for emergency was nice as well. 15 min free spa, late night room service, scooter rental from the hotel etc. all was nice.
