Stayed here with my best friend in January for 5 night. Absolutely excellent location. Right in the heart of Seminyak eat street and walk to beach etc. The villa we stayed in was villa 31. Two bedrooms (2 seperate villas both with bathrooms) and then an open central villa as lounge/dining/kitchen. The layout is great with private pool and lush gardens. Saying that, it seems to be that time where the villas need a bit of an upgrade. As simple as a fresh coat of paint, new appliances etc. It’s all looking pretty old and tired (and some of the electrical looks nasty). There is no phone, radio or tv in the living area which is a bit of a hassle and doesn’t add to atmosphere unless you run some music off your own system. We would however stay here again and recommend the club villas.
My husband and I stayed at the Club Villas in the Honey Moon Villa #23 and we were entirely satisfied with our stay. They are clean and ours was tended to everyday. We had 2 people come in to give us fresh towels, make our bed, refresh the toiletries and wipe down surfaces, 1 gardener in to sweep up leaves, 1 friendly man who tended to the pool cleanliness and water level and later in the day there was a man who came to spray our rooms and light the mosquito coil outside our room. Our breakfast was bought to us on time each morning and was cleaned up before we came back each afternoon. Breakfast was simple wholesome food that was always hot. The private pool was a highlight and there was an outdoor shower to rinse yourself afterwards. The villa is not ultra modern or new but has been well maintained and refreshed. We were close to the main street in Seminyak and great restaurants. The reception was happy to help us book a driver for a day and hire a scooter as well. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and cool. We felt vey welcomed and appreciated all the help from the staff at Club Villas. They also gave us free return airport transfers - thank yoy Club Villas😊
This is our second trip to Club Villas Seminyak and yes the location could not be better, close to Seminyak Square and first class restaurants. Staff are fantastic and nothing is to much trouble for them, however they are being badly let down by head office. The rooms need a good coat of paint perhaps once a year; we stayed in Villa 6 which had paint badly marked and peeling of the wall. Towels were a big issue as they looked very worn and in fact very grey, dirty looking and were in short supply on a few occasions. Bar fridge was never replenished during our stay, breakfast was always delivered on time and reasonably hot and enjoyable, we ordered cappuccino's with breakfast and on one occasion could not be delivered as machine had broken down surely these could have been sourced from elsewhere. All in all a great location but would look elsewhere if returning to Seminyak.
The location of the villas is ideal, close to Seminyak Square and a multitude of bars and restaurant are at a walking distance as you exit the property. The staff are friendly & courteous and all of our requests were met with a minimum of fuss. The availability of their free shuttle service to the various locations, was very convenient and a useful feature. The private pool in each villa is certainly a great benefit of staying at this resort. However, we did experience some issues with non functioning or poorly maintained assets within the villas. On our arrival to villa No.36, within the first 3 hours of our arrival we had a non-flushing toilet in one of the villas, a tap that would not stop running, a security safe within one of the villas that did not lock and a few other minor issues that one should not encounter in a hotel or villa. On complaining to the manager and requesting that we be moved to an alternate villa, we were told that none other were available that day, but another would be available on the second day of our stay. Relocating to villa No.35, was certainly better, but it did leave us wondering what else would break down during our stay. The manger was very apologetic and a genuine effort was make to relocate us as soon as possible. My advice to the Senor Management Team at this resort, is to read the reviews that have been posted to date and take action to ensure that each villa is closely scrutinized to ensure that everything contained within the villas are in perfect working order. In addition, any mold on the ceiling should be treated and the villas painted to give them a newer appearance. It is obvious that these problems are not being treated with the seriousness that they deserve and that management standards, specifically in relation to property maintenance, are well below the level of many other hotels & resorts. I should add that this is not my first visit to Bali and the traditional Balinese buildings do have an appeal, however this was the first time that we have been confronted with such issues during our stay. These issues are extremely 'off putting'. I was disappointed with my stay and disappointed that I need to report this experience in such a public manner. I hope that these comments are viewed as constructive and motivate management to take action asap.....for their own sake.
Spent 2 nights here after moving from Mulia Nusa Dua. Check in was smooth as our room bills were pre-paid. Location was very straregic near to the main street of Seminyak full of f&b and small boutiques. Was informed by reception that our requested 1 bedroom villa was fully booked hence the upgrade to 2 bedroom villa. Then i thought, why not! Thanks to the Management. Little that i know that the villa we were led to i.e villa 33 was a total nightmare. Externally looked fine with local Balinese architecture and was huge to certain extent. On the inside, almost all the items were not functional, lights were blinking, towels looked aged, shower was of low pressure, hair dryer was old and rusty. The worst was its water heater, once you turned the heater on, a bad odor came along with it and my wife and i cant imagine getting shower with that kind of smell. Asked for change of villa, reception said there was none available for our 1st night. I ended up showered in cold water. 2nd day we were moved to the actual villa i.e. 1 bedroom and to our pleasant surprise it was much much much better than what we had earlier. Breakfast was okay. Food came timely. But my suggestion to the Management, please make sure consistency in your product offerings. Dont sell units that are not up to your 4* standards. You might just mislead your guests to a horror house instead. Refurbish your old units and only sell those that are of the required standards re-sell once refurbishment works are completed. Will come back, but only if all villas are of the same standard. I dont want to be mislead to a place unlike the posted pictures.
This was my first trip overseas however my partners second time in Bali. We had no issues on arrival, staff were lovely helped with baggage and escorted us to our private villa. Our first night in our villa we were woken up at 2am by something ruffling through our items locked inside our room. Only to discover mice in our room. Reception was called at 3am, we had 1 staff member and security attempt to remove the mice we were assured it was gone although watching we did not see them leave the room. We returned to bed and could hear them again 4 and 5am to the mice in our bedroom. This was a sleepless night. After speaking to reception the next morning they mentioned they would arrange for pest people in to treat our villa so we needed to be out all day. The following morning we woke up to a mouse bated and stuck to a piece of wood outside of our villa door still alive and moving. This was not pleasant to see as our breakfast arrived and we were seated only a metre away. The breakfast food was not great either. On 3 occasions of or stay at the club villas they did not clean our bathroom, one morning of which I called before housekeeping got to our room to advise that there was an incident and there was vomit on the bathroom floor, I asked that this be cleaned and gave them a warning. On return to our room that afternoon the same bed sheets as the day before were still on (with makeup on the pillows). Bathroom floor not moped or cleaned, my partners vomit still on the floor (I had to clean this up myself as the floor was sticky), the basin not wiped out and the rubbish bins in the bedroom and bathroom not emptied one with vomit in it, tables not wiped down, floors not swept and so on. On numerous occasions when calling reception the phone would go unanswered after several calls. I requested more pool towels as the ones we had used earlier in the afternoon were soaking wet only to call 3 times and finally reception answered for them to tell me it wasn't an issue more towels would be at our villa shortly. 25 Minutes later still with no towels I called back and asked where they were only to be advised they would be 30 minutes. The only thing they offered us was late checkout and we couldn't even stay in our villa we had to move our luggage to another villa and could not use the facilities as they had to remain clean for someone checking in the same night we left. After our first night at the club villas, I did not want to stay there any longer however we did pay in advance and were not assisted with the option to leave without forfeiting our money. The location of the villas is excellent and the general layout of the villas are great. However, overall we did not have a good experience on our 7 night stay at the club villas.
We stayed in Villa 8 , which was very spacious and had a private pool. We were on our honeymoon and needed the privacy. we had dinner and breakfast. Dinner was well prepared but the vegetarian breakfast was not that great. It is situated in a quite location and service is good. We enjoyed our stay.It had a very big bathroom and a bathtub.
When I initially booked The Club Villas for 7 nights, I specifically requested with the reservations department to confirm they would provide us with a villa that I sent them a photo of and they confirmed that they will provide us with the villa. Upon arrival at approx. 10:30pm we were disappointed to be shown to Villa 3 which was not as nice as the Villa we had requested. It was a larger villa but in need of a good refurbish. We went back to reception who advised that that villa was not available for the night but we were moved the next day. Villa 16 was a lot nicer and a bit fresher. The villas do need to be refreshed. All the curtains were dirty with stains as well as the bed sheets and the towels provided. I had to ask housekeeping to change our bed sheet covers one night as there was a disgusting stain right where you lay your head. Unfortunately, housekeeping threw away some personal belongings away and when we informed reception they were adamant that housekeeping did not throw them away. That was a bit frustrating as they were implying that we were lying. We never said it was done intentionally by housekeeping but the fact that they kept implying we were lying was a bit disappointing. Another point - Housekeeping ring the external doorbell once and then open with their key and walk into the villas. This was done to us twice and I was pretty annoyed as I was usually sunbaking topless - whole point of a private villa right? Just be sure to put the privacy tab on your front door otherwise they will just walk in. Upon check out after a lot of negotiation with 2 staff members at reception we were compensated a bit for our belongings that were thrown away and they gave us a bit of a discount. Location was good - close to restaurants. Staff were friendly. Breakfast very repetitive - I would recommend you change the menu for customers that stay longer than a couple of days as there are not many options. Coffee machine was not working for 3 out of 7 nights.
We had booked the Honeymoon villa via Cantik balii villas, upon arrival we were informed that the honeymoon villas were all occupied and that Cantik had been informed and we had been moved to a 2 bedroom villa with a free in villa romantic dinner, we were really unhappy that we had not been informed that our villa choice was unavailable as we had stayed in THV last time and jut loved it. I believe there is around a $35 per night difference in the 1 bed villa / honeymoon villa which really should have been compensated to us not a dinner in villa which we didn't want to use as we were only staying 5 nights and were traveling with friends so really not good enough. We were shown a 1 bed vila but the garden area was just too small , the villa was beautifully appointed though. We did have a friend come to stay with us for one night and they made the second bedroom available and provided breakfast so this was a nice gesture to show their sympathy for not having our requested room , we also received one complimentary afternoon tea which was lovely. The 2 bed villa we stayed in was nice just not as spacious and a smaller pool then the the honeymoon villa. Our friends had the honeymoon villa and were very happy except for the fact that the big fridge was missing and a tiny bar fridge was in its place ? and also their front gate was broken so they had to go in and out locking a big padlock behind them. I think the standard had definitely gone down since our last visit 2 years ago , little things like the pad lock the fridge , grey but clean towels and just a little bit tired around the place .The staff are beautiful and a credit to the management (who never once showed their faces) I became very ill during our brief stay and the ladies were just wonderful special thanks to Purnami (?) for my ginger tea. The free shuttle in the seminyak area was fantastic and so much fun going in the golf buggy a real bonus. the location can't be beatenThe wifi logs you out a bit if you are not using your device which was a pain when relying on messenger and whats app for communication We will most definitely return But would recommend booking direct with the Villas We enjoyed our stay just unfortunate that we didn't get what we were expecting, I think we should have received a refund for the price difference in the villas would have been much simpler and caused less misunderstanding .
We absolutely loved our time in the club villas in Seminyak. Right on eat street fantastic location. Very clean and well maintained. Pool was gorgeous and warm. Great for romantic get away. The staff were very helpful. Absolutely recommend we will be back for sure
