Overall, our stay at The Bali dream villa was all right, but not fantastic. The facility was clean and the staff were friendly as can be, but the location of the resort just was not what we were looking for-it was pretty remote. In addition to this, the walls were super thin, and we could hear our neighbors talking all night (though they did not even seem to be talking very loud). Our unit lost electricity twice, one time for almost a full day. The restaurant was decent, but very overpriced for the island, and we have been in Bali for almost a month. While I wouldn’t say it was bad, I do believe a much better value could be found somewhere else around Canggu.

The room was of good quality. There was no view however, and the food was too expensive. It was a comfortable stay but I will not go back as there was nothing to make it stand out. The staff was friendly and helpful!

We stayed at the hotel for three days in a superior room and the room had all we needed - and a little more. The breakfast is very good. I will not recommend the restaurant for lunch or dinner as the food is not so good and a little pricy compared to the surrounding restaurants. The staff are great - from the reception to the restaurant and the spa-area. All smiling and very helpful. The area is very relaxed and the surrounding villages are easily reached by taxi, scooter or even by bike. All in all we very satisfied with our stay and can only recommend it to others.

We spent six nights here. Staff was friendly, breakfast was ok and all the public areas were clean and green. Lots of vegetation all around the place. We had issues with the housekeeping as our sheets weren't changed even we asked and when they were changed, the sheets had huge brown spots etc. As we complained, housekeeping didn't bring us toilet paper etc. anymore. Annoying.

The villa was great especially the scent inside our room. Clean, big and everything was there already. You wouldn't wanna go out anymore. I also tried the spa, and the massage was relaxing. The service was excellent as well.

The hotel was clean and tidy, staff friendly, and the room spacious. Air con noisy and a bit drippy, could do with an upgrade but we got used to it. We loves the pool area as it was super peaceful and cool in the bali heat, and there was hardly ever anyone else there! The cooking class was pretty awesome- so much good food. Thanks fir a lively holiday, bali dream :)

Cool n funky n chilled THE GOODS: -service -private villas with private pool -Breakfast value included -Wifi Close to Echo Beach Needs: Few more banana lounges main pool side for guests Do- Go buy yourself a 19ltr water bottle from shop, reduce plastic , BYO water bottle from home.

The villa is pretty isolated, with few amenities within walking distance. This inconvenience is made worse by transportation being the monopoly of the local village who charge much higher prices than anyone else heading out; Grab or Uber are not allowed in many such "protected" areas., though you can use the MyBlueBird app to call a taxi. Again the isolation might mean a long wait. For those who go to Bali for a five-star experience with easy beach access and attractions within walking distance, this is not the place. For affordability and isolation however, it might be considered.

This resort has motel and villa style accommodations that are clean and neat and with the facilities expected at a luxury resort. Its done very nicely with lovely vegetation, pool and staff. The massages were fantastic and the treatment list was extensive. The staff arranged a beautiful flower filled pool for our last night on request by my husband. Wonderful.. Very nice resort and would come back.

Located in a quiet area, if you're in Bali for a nice romantic quiet time or just for chilling, this place is perfect. Was here for my honeymoon so we stayed in the one-bedroom villa. Beautiful concept, but needs a bit more of tender loving care to the common areas in the villa. Apart from all the insects, we really enjoyed our stay here. The moment we arrived, they greeted us with our names and smiles and a welcome drink each. Reception area always seemed to have only one or two staff present at any point of time, so if they are attending to someone you'll have to wait your turn. But lobby area is good enough to chill and wait. Please do stock up on repellants if you intend to come here (or any other villa). We came prepared with a citronella candle and loads of mosquito repellant. We practically bathed in repellant during our whole stay. (Maybe management should consider a monthly fogging of the place) Getting around the area is not as difficult as you think; They do have a scheduled shuttle service that brings you to two places (a beach and a shopping area) which we did not take so I won't be able to speak more of this. They also have a taxi service (take note: non-metered taxis) do confirm with the desk the amount to be paid as well. But they can take you anywhere out of Canggu (or around) if you want. *You can take a metered taxi back into the villa There is rental service of motorised scooters (primary mode of transport) and they charge by 24hrs that can be either paid during your check out or right after you return the keys. Just ask the front desk and they will be happy to assist! Just a 5min scooter ride away, you'll reach the Beach! Where a beautiful sunset awaits. Plonk yourself down on one of the beanbags or whichever bar you're looking for and grab a drink or two till the sun goes down. Overall, a nice intimate place to stay for honeymooners. Also nice for families and a group of friends.
