By far my favourite hotel i stayed in during my Bali visit. It has this great Bali atmosphere, is not sterile and boring like others. Staff were so welcoming and it didn't end there, they were polite and helpful and friendly for the duration of my stay and always happy to chat or call someone on your behalf when needing help. So accommodating and honest. Will be sure to return. Great location as well.
I booked this as a last minute thing so wasn't sure what to expect, I was blown away with how friendly and helpful al the staff were. the room was made up every day and I was greeted with genuine warmth every morning, more than I've had in more luxurious hotels in big city's. close to the beach, plenty of bistro's and bars close by and of course shops and spa's, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and am already planning a return visit.
I have stayed here many times and this time for three weeks.. No negative comments to make. I am welcomed with a SMILE and the smile continues every day. Easy access to many restaurants and massage spas with the beach a short walk away.. My room and patio offer me a most relaxing and visually calming view with well cared for gardens and shade. The in house restaurant offers live seafood swimming in tank..
I stayed in one of the renovated top floor rooms in the hope of a better experience after reading some recent reviews. The room was a good size, and I'd no complaints with the bed, however the whole experience found me checking out early to find a cheerier spot for my last memories of Bali. A kettle was supplied, but it had some weird blue growths attached to the element, so even if they HAD provided cups, or tea/Coffee, I wouldn't have used it! The door wasn't very secure, and as I had no 'do not disturb' sign provided, I wasn't convinced that someone wouldn't just walk in early in the morning. Even with a few drinks on board, I spent a disturbed night due to the horrid smell in the room, which I only realised the next day was coming from the drains. The pool was the best part, large and very warm; well tended. I was only there before lunchtime, but I'm not sure why they put a young lad with really no English on to manage the pool bar. He brought round a 'menu' for the bar, which listed food and numerous cocktails, however when I tried to order something, he didn't understand and just kept saying 'small Bintang'? I gave up - not very good for business! Yes, this hotel is not expensive, however I managed without any difficulty to find a much much better one for less money very close by!
Hotel staff were very helpful we asked for our room to be changed. No problem. Food was ok. Small portions in Bali although I found it to be enough. Pool are clean plenty of shade. Water in the pool was clean also.
We booked this hotel for one night at the end of our holiday. It was quite difficult to find as it's not very well sign posted but a local pointed us in the right direction. We were not expecting luxury as it was around £30 a night but when we arrived they explained they had upgraded us to a premium room on the third floor. The room was basis but the bed was very comfortable and we had a great sleep before travelling back to the UK the next morning. However, the bathroom shower, toilet and sink were very smelly it was not pleasant and if I had booked for more than one night I would have asked to me moved. Overall an acceptable place to stay for a short time. It's a good location to bars and shops.
This hotel is well situated. Close to beach. Only 5 minute easy flat walk. Plentiful shopping and restaurants nearby. Hotel is very quiet with little street noise from our room on second level half way back in property. No problems getting wifi in our room. Room is a little dated but comfortable enough with great aircon which is needed. While there is a kettle in the room, there are no cups or tea, coffee etc sachets. Property is very clean and tidy with lovely narrow plant lined walkways. Pool at rear of property is large, clean and well maintained with swim up bar. Restaurant is situated right on roadside as are most restaurants in the area. Service is quick and polite. Food my son and I ordered was excellent although portion sizes a bit small. Prices are about the same as other local restaurants. The staff are very friendly, helpful and well presented. One problem with Paradiso would be wheel chair access. There are no lifts to second or third level rooms. Paths are narrow with steps and raised decorative bridges. Seminyak Paradiso is better suited to the mobile mid range tourist and priced accordingly. I would definitely stay here again.
no wifi in rooms and bad service. catching a taxi, noone could find where the hotel was so it cost me twice as much as it would have otherwise. upon arrival, i am shown my room, which is a fine room, but am told that i have to use wifi only in the restaurant. i do so and do the right thing by ordering food. service is terrible. no wifi whatsoever in the room which is useless. the only reason i booked this hotel is because it indicated that there was free wifi. staff are are completely unhelpful. it is currently 10.30pm at night and i am waiting for someone to either "show up" or call to try and "sort a solution out. About to demand a refund and book in somewhere else.
We went to this place for dinner last night and what an utter disaster. We placed our order straight away. Received the drinks no problem and they were quick with them. That's all that was okay with the night. We waited almost an hour and then some of us received our starters and others didn't and then they brought 4 of the mains out without the others even having starters. The spag Bol was a bowl with sticky pasta all glued together and a dob of black sauce on top the seafood platter was really cold so could not be eaten. Still after an hour and half the other starters had not appeared. Won't ever go back.
The location is perfect. Youre on a 5 mi walk from the beach and you have a lot of nice restaurants / shops on walking distance. The rooms are very dated. Everything is old, especially the showers. It doesnt really looks fresh and clean. Its more like a backpackers place. Breakfast was kinda expensive. Staff was nice
