We recently traveled with a group of 20 to Ubud and having visited Rama Phala before, knew it was where we wanted to stay again! The property itself is quiet, yet the location is walkable to the heart of Ubud which was perfect for our group. The hotel staff and team as most accommodating to our needs and went out of their way to make sure that everyone always felt welcome and taken care of. We absolutely loved the outdoor showers and bathrooms - such a Bali experience! The food was great, the grounds clean and the people lovely - we couldn't ask for anything more when staying in Ubud.

We stayed three nights at the Rama Phala in a 2 bedroom family suite. The hotel itself is quite nice - a long property with the rooms set attractively in individual villas along a winding path with nice gardens and fish ponds. The pool and restaurant is towards the end of the property so away from the road and nice and quiet. Our two bedroom unit was in a a villa to itself, but strangely designed. The spacious upstairs room with a balcony and easy chair was the twin room, so where the kids slept. Downstairs was an entry foyer useful only for shoes and hanging wet clothes, then the main bedroom itself which was much more cramped than the upstairs room. During our stay we had a few problems with water and the airconditioner in the upstairs room. These were attended to promptly by the staff (the staff were very friendly and helpful) but the problems somewhat took the gloss off our stay. The bathrooms have a sort of semi-open shower with rocks on the floor. This turned out to be more of a gimmick than something any of us enjoyed using. The towels also seem to be at the end of their life and need replacing. Although the website says wi-fi in the foyer, it was actually available throughout the hotel and worked fine. If we ever returned to Ubud we would probably pay a bit more for a hotel to avoid some of the issues described above.

We go to rama phala for family holiday. The hotel is so nice. With good landscape, the room is so comfortable, the service is very good. I really love the room ambiance. So many space for children to play inside the room because raining outside....good food also. Recommend hotel for staying in ubud.

This resort has a good location as it is only 5 minutes walk from Mo key forest and 15 minutes from centre of Ubud. It has friendly staff. We did not get free massage as it was written on our vaucher from travel agent. The towels did not look very clean, but were changed almost every day. We had problem with air vondition and they suggeyted to give us another room but we liked it so firts night we spent without air con. It was hot, but air con was fixed first thing next day. When it was raining - heavy rain showers our room was flooded, but had no idea how. During the nights the frogs are very loud, but it is nice to listen to them. Also you can hear squarrels run over the roofs, but you cannot hear the traffic even if you are very close to the main street. The rooms are very big with lovely balconies, so a great place.

I stayed here for 2 nights from 20.09.2017 to 22.09.2017 and was very impressed with the hotel. While booking the hotel i was bit hesitated to book, as i planned this trip for city break, but this hotel was in mid of the Ubud city and was doubt about the place, but to my surprise, i had a very peaceful stay, the rooms were very big, very close to nature. As soon as you enter the hotel its very quite with natural views. The staffs are very friendly and also very informative, they helped us with places to be visited. Just outside the hotel in minutes of walk you can find money changer, mobile shops, nice restaurants, spa, super market and also walking distance Monkey Forest. The pool is good and restaurant has good variety of food. I had a very good SPA, the staff is very experienced. On the downside the breakfast was ok and the rooms need some more lights. Because of my doubt I booked another hotel for my remaining holiday, hope I would have stayed here for my full holiday.

Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was ok. Couldn’t turn air con off in the room and it was very cold. Shower pressure wasn’t very good either. Toilet kept flushing constantly. Beds comfy and pool area was nice. So mixed feelings.

The rooms are in midst of peaceful landscaped gardens. The hotel is just off a busy street, with plenty of bars, restaurants, exchange bureaus in the immediate vicinity. The furniture was a bit outdated, and some minor repairs needed. The spa facility was small and a bit over-priced.

I stay here 3 nights from 23.07 to 26.07.2017, and I was very impressed by the hotel, the room arrangement, and especially the bathroom. The bed is very confortable. They have a small pool, with a few sunbeds, and it's perfect for a short bath. I was disaapointed by the breakfast, and the coffee was miserable- this is the only thing that dissapointed me here. Is near the shop and is very good situated. Perfect for a short stay, and if they improve the breakfats and coffee will be really 5 stars.

My wife and I recently spent two nights at Rama Phala and were much impressed by the beauty of the grounds and rooms. The hotel is located in a great location in the heart of Ubud with a short walk to lots of great restaurants and shops yet the hotel is remarkably quiet in spite of the hustle and bustle. The food is good but there are lots of great places to eat within easy walking distance. The hotel also offers free shuttle service to the central Ubud area where the palace and its dance performances are located as well as great shopping.

The Rama Phala Resort and Spa was the first hotel that I stayed in while travelling through Bali, Indonesia. It is a quaint resort with friendly staff. The breakfast is not buffet. A variety of choices are available from the menu. The food is freshly prepared and it is tasty. The Deluxe Room is spacious with a comfortable bed. The bathroom has an open air shower. This allows for a shower under the stars in the evening, and a shower listening to the birds in the morning. The resort is located away from the noise of the traffic on the main road. It is located five minutes away from the Sacred Monkey Forest. The resort provides transport to Central Ubud as well as any other destination you may be interested in. The reception staff are helpful in organising the transport. If you would like to stay in a resort that is quiet yet well located in Ubud, I recommend staying at the Rama Phala Resort and Spa.
