The property is tucked away from the main hubs and is just on the beach. The villa's are good and each has its own pool and privacy. The rooms are spacious and uptodate. This is not a hotel hence the breakfast is namesake. We did not have any lunch or dinner as the menu was limited. The staff is polite and helpful. There are couple of daily need stores at walkable distance. Not many taxis no about the place. The sea is charming and nature is at its best with no rush of the urban life. A great place to relax for kids too.
Stayed for six nights during a family holiday (two adults and three children) taking in Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali and Dubai. Accommodation was of a good standard although starting to look a little rough round the edges, i.e. some areas need a bit of a touch up. Staff were excellent and food was good if stick to the Balinese options and avoid European dishes. The location is a bit off the beaten track and ideal if you are looking for a quiet location to relax. Sanur is only 20 minutes away with villas providing a driver to take you there although you need to get a taxi back. Not an issue as plenty of taxis and very cheap, i.e. about 8GBP for 20 minute ride. Villa is on the beach although it is a black sand beach with lots of locals working on it so not ideal for sun bathing. Didn't find this a problem as villa has an excellent pool and garden area although there did seem to be a lack of sun loungers?
i dont save photos in the villas , im sorry but im happy for all..im still saving photos if i playing in pandawa beach..pandawa beach is amazing, very clean and awesome..disana tidak terlau ramai seperti pantai2 lain
We stayed here as a family of 4 in one of the three bed villas. There had been some initial confusion with the check in times and date but this was quickly resolved and caused no problem at all. We were grateful given our 2.30am arrival time! Despite waking up at 11am, passed breakfast time, we were still offered a fresh breakfast before we moved to our booked villa. Staff here were all lovely. Harri was very helpful and Mandek (not sure, my daughter couldn't remember his name!) was so lovely, he took us on a day tour and was so patient and accommodating. We also did a cooking class - highly recommend it! Was so much fun! The rooms were clean and well equipped. Breakfast was generous and I thought a good choice of foods. I really like the area, it was full of locals, away from the tourist heavy areas. The pools were fantastic, the children had an amazing time swimming. They even got used to the geckos in the end! Thank you Pandawa Beach villas for such a lovely stay!
Beautiful villas and amazing pool , really enjoyed breakfast with Indonesian food is fantastic. cleaning room. good staff. feel very calm, this villa is in the middle of the village away from the crowds. My view of rice fields and cattle while walking in the morning...
This facility has the views you dream of has pools for every villas and butler services. But what we hadn't realised you need to book a full villa as if you book a room you are sharing the villa with others. There is a fridge in the kitchen. Which is shared by the other rooms. There is no TV or even a radio in the room. These are located on a different floor to ours and outside a bother persons bedroom. We were on the ground floor which had the pool outside but the pool is shared by the other residences of the villa. In our case they were smokers we are. Or this was very uncomfortable for us to endures. The staff were lovely the resort is emasculate luncheon but for us I will choose a motel room next time.
Amazing place to stay. Website does not do it justice. Room was better than expected. Our buttler and driver, Kadek, was very friendly and kind. We would stay here again if in the area. Great for a quiet and private vacation
My family and I recently stayed in a 2 bedroom beach villa with private pool villa. Now before I go any further, these villas are out of the way, out of the normal hustle and bustle of Bali life so we were a little cautious about whether we were going to enjoy this or not. Well, we loved it!!!! It is at the end of a beach road in a village and there is only locals around. No shops or nightlife. Just the sound of the ocean. This resort is located on the beach and has black sand, yes you read right!!! I had never even heard of black sand. The beaches were not somewhere where I would swim but that is what the pool is for. So from the moment we arrived, we were met by the most beautiful people. I am sorry but I am terrible with names but the ladies in reception (Kariana) were beautiful and our butlers, Kadek, Harry and lovely young guy no. 3 - we cannot fault them. They took care of us from the moment we arrived to the time that we left 10 days later. The chef cooks the most beautiful food. It is not fancy but just tasted fantastic. Everything we ordered was good. Breakfast was included every morning and there was a selection of juices/tea and coffee, toast, continental breakfast and full breakfasts. No complaints from us in that respect. The rooms were a little dated and could use a bit of money spent on them but these people do the best with what they have. The rooms were very clean and tidy and room service is available twice a day if needed. My only complaint would be the bedding - the beds were very hard for me and the pillow selection not great so sleep was left to alcohol dreams!!!! They offer a free shuttle to Sanur which is about 15 minutes away in good traffic. We had dinner at 3 different places in there all of which I have reviewed and again, no complaints. The villas do not have a spa, even though the name suggests so. You can have freelance masseuses come to the villas but we went into Sanur to Aroma Spa and loved it. Again, reviews on that. They also do a complimentary return shuttle (the spa that is). The pool in our villa was always clean. Tip - if you have kids, pack a couple of pool toys or buy some there. We loved staying at Pandawa Villas and will definitely return. Hopefully they will read my post and just do something with the bedding next time.
wanted to find positive things about the villas, but couldn't. and I don't usually leave poor feedback (as you could see that with my over 100+ reviews). the downside... 1) we booked a beachfront villa, but due to their poor reservation management, they didn't have one available. we didn't need the inconvenience of checking out of a villa with private pool and no view in seminyak. drive for 1 hour on motorcycle only to check into a similar villa with private pool and no view (unless you go upstairs for a limited view) at pandawa beach. not what we had originally reserved and paid in full for. and if we had known about that, we would have stayed at the previous villa and saved all the trouble. however, we were able to move to a beachfront villa for only 1 night. 2) in compensation for their error, they offered a spa package (as they didn't elaborate) or a dinner. when we ordered dinner, we chose the simple meal options and asked if they would cover everything including drinks. they said no. our price with drinks was half of the most expensive meal. so we told them that we will have our free meal on the next night (so that we could choose more expensive meal options). their logic doesn't make any sense. 3) the first non-beachfront villa (which had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms). it was huge. very nice pool, which was clean. there were some maintenance lapses especially with cabinet drawers in the bathrooms and kitchen - as they need attention. however, the second beachfront villa (which also had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) was not so nice. the floor plan layout is nice. loved the bathroom with freestanding tub in the middle and an open garden behind. but the whole place felt quite run down with worn out furniture. sliding doors that were hard to open and close. laminate wood flooring in poor condition. outdoor wooden planks with nails sticking out, which meant "accidents waiting to happen" (and we had to make sure that we don't walk barefoot in this or that area). the living space didn't feel "clean" - as we felt dirty most of the time. the swimming pool wasn't as clean as the other villa that we swam only once. 4) the meals were unimpressive. breakfast was blah. and dinner was blah again. and due to the ordinary nature of meals, we felt that they were quite overpriced (when compared to 7 other villas that we stayed in bali - as they presented their meals very well). 5) far from being beautiful black sandy beach that was advertised. the beach was very dirty. trash littered all over. nobody was swimming. and it was too digusting to even think of laying out there on a beach towel. am not sure if the hotel management does make any effort to keep the beach clean. 6) the staff has poor sense of privacy and being unobtrusive. with each entry which was sometimes unannounced, they would leave the gate door wide open that we'd have to walk back to close and lock every time - at both villas that we stayed. that's unlike our experience staying at 7 other villas in bali where staff knew when to come back to collect after meals, or to close and lock the gate door with every visit. if we leave our gate door closed and locked, it means your staff needs to follow suit - every time (as with showing respect for our privacy). 7) upon check out... guess what? the staff didn't take out the "free dinner" that was promised. had to argue with them for a bit until the manager came to assist and resolve this issue. we didn't need to have to explain that the manager yesterday offered free meal as compensation for their error, and the staff didn't believe us. it should have been taken care of internally without the need for us to dispute the charges. and making us leave the place with bad taste (which was the cherry on top of previous bad tastes that we had to take during our entire 2 day stay). obviously, we will not return. and we will not recommend this place to anybody.
