Mercure Bali Nusa Dua4.0 out of 5.0

Stayed 5 days and organised 2 meetings with 10-15 colleagues. It is nothing special, but very friendly, clean and has good facilities, including really good wifi. It was raining heavily throughout the week, and the pool-level rooms were horrendous and smellu, so avoid at all cost, but 3rd and 4th floor were fine. A few noise issues due to a large event. But overall, for a very reasonably priced business hotel it does what it says.
Myself and my partner enjoyed a luxurious weeks stay in the Mercure Nusa Dua. This was our first time in Bali, we could not fault the hotel, room was lovely, food delicious. Pool area quiet and relaxing. Recommend - Sunset @ Kuta beach / Nightlife in Kuta (20 mins from hotel - cheap taxi) Potatohead beach club Gili Trawangan, Lombok (We stayed over night, booked fast boat incl pickup in Nusa Dua through 'Blue Water Express'. Island Tour (Booked full day through 'Bali Essential Tours')
Stay there for 2 night to celebrate my son birthday in the first week of november. Really had a great time and enjoying my stay. Nice breakfast. Nice pool. Mostly for the kids. My son really enjoy it. Definelty will be coming back. Feed back has been given to the front desk staff upon check out.
Mercure is supposed to be a good network hotel. Found a stain in the bed sheet, and the pillow smells not good. the shower was excellent, amenity was minimalist. Got upgrade from the front desk, i was placed in front of swimming pool. You need a shuttle if you want to go to the beach. the breakfast was standard.
This hotel really disappointed us. The entrance was magnificent as was the private beach but that's where it ended. Rooms were damp and smelly. We had to change rooms 3 times due to the bad smell. The rooms also flooded during the afternoon rain which happens daily. Staff were inattentive and took a while to respond to requests. Some requests had to be made 2-3 times before being addressed. This place does not top up with toiletries, you have to request even toilet paper. Room service is cash only, which we did not know. You are also required for pay for room service at the same time. There are flies and other insects everywhere in the restaurant. The pizza was good but nothing much else on the menu. This place needs a serious revamp. Definitely not recommended.
I am an Accor club member amd stay at Mercure Hotels regularly. In fact I have stayed at the Mercure Legian many times and also tbe Mercure Kuta. But in this instance I must say that they're Nusa Dua hotel is a complete disappointment. Now to be fair even in this instance the staff are as always wonderful. I can't fault the staff in tbe slightest, they will bend over backwards to help you in any way. The rooms however leave alot to be desired. First we had to change rooms because of moisture in the the first room, a balcony pool view room. When I say moisture I mean a ridiculous amount, dripping from the walls, making your clothes and bed damp and also making the floor dangerously slippery. So we change rooms, it really doesn't help. Then we return from dinner to find our room flooded, literally FLOODED. The managments explanation for this was the heavy rain this night. GUESS WHAT !!!! It's Bali and Bali is in the tropics, and it's the wet season Sherlock Holmes. You can't tell me they haven't been aware of this problem for a while but simply haven't been bothered to fix it. Add to this the complete lack of an adequate wardrobe and not a single draw in the room, Don't bother unpacking because you CAN'T. As I said at the beginning. GREAT STAFF. Nice pool, and that's about it.
I stayed end of Oct with my boyfriend for 1 night. We checked in around 6pm or maybe later than that and we got the room key right after check in. No one showed us the way where to go and of course no one escorted us to the room. We didnt have much luggage but no one offered to assist us. When we got to the room key was not working and we had to go to front desk to change our room key. There was a person who checked us in and he just changed the key to new one. Ok there was no apology but we were a bit tired so we went to the room. Key was not working again!!!! We went up to lobby again and he was still there and he did NOT say sorry again! but he said there was similar problem with the key from other guests. As i showed unpleasant facial expression finally someone else came out and made the key again (still no apology) and grab one of security person to escort us. Finally we could entre the room but while we were engaging with 3 different people no one apologised us. Yes some of your staff at the pool area was nice and Your pool was amazing to swim and we liked it but staff attitude was not up to our expectation.
I came just to see the room actually for my group company gathering, and The lady from reception Ms Desta had show me all the hotel facility and room. She was also informed us that they have special offer only for hotel facility pool and gym access only 75k per person included with meal. And it was very good offer because they have lovely swimming pool and gym Then the next day we came to enjoy our Sunday relax time, spent time at the pool. Over all their service was very good and we will definitely come again for that special offer and maybe for stay next time.
Nice hotel, room a bit small but adequate for 2 of us with single beds. We chose the garden view rooms with a patio that was lovely to sit out in to read and enjoy the garden views. Appreciated welcome drinks and plate of small cakes. Pergola spotted around the beautifully maintained grounds.Excellent airconditioed gym with large windows overlooking the gardens, has an instructor most of the day. Half hourly transport to the hotel beach area during the day. A nice walk to the Peninsula blow hole from there. Novotel hotel back entrance is a short walk from the hotel where we dined for an evening meal overlooking there pool. Excellent personalised service from the manager, reception staff went out of their way to assist with a booking, we even scored free taxi from the airport and to our next hotel. Will return.
Great location near to Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Really pleasant and Clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff, specially thanks to miss Desta and Marco, All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their advice and time.
