Stopped here for 6 nights whilst on a cruise and stay holiday. The staff are very pleasant and caring. We got married whilst in Bali and the hotel decorated our room and bed for when we returned from our ceremony on a private beach
I've been to Nusa Dua many times and know the area, this was a quick solo trip so I didn't need to stay anywhere too expensive. The hotel is a nice size and has good amenities, and is handy for the gated community (although is technically outside of it) and nearby businesses. The rooms are not huge but they have everything you need and a nice big bed. I paid a little more (less than $5) for a pool view, that was worth it, and would consider a terrace next time. People had complained about the segmented bathroom with the sink in the room, but that was ok for me, and the shower was a great size. The pillows were very high and hard, and I persisted with the staff until I got something softer. Always managed to get a day bed and it was super comfy. Pool area great, and the lunch at the bar was tasty and cheap. The door entry key things were a pest, there was a knack of speed and dexterity required. If the kids had been with me they would have loved the rabbits. Went elsewhere for spa treatments they weren't cheap and not a dedicated facility just 2 hotel rooms near the pool. Beach club lovey and shaded, however ended up walking back one day as there were way too many people for the last 6pm bus, and traffic was bad so would have waited longer to eventually get back. All in all a great break and would definitely stay there again. The mini bar fridge wasn't as cold as I would have liked.
I spend 2 night at deluxe double bed terrace pool view. The room was clean and near to pool and parking place; also the bathroom and pool were clean too. The receptionists and security people were friendly. The Mercure Hotel has rabbit playground. The foods are delicious. The mercure hotel was near to Warung Nasi Ayam Bu Oki, Warung Babi Guling Pak Dobiel, BDTC and Waterblow. Very good hotel.
Great service, very friendly and helpful. enjoyed the breakfast provided every morning. Room was lovely, great room service also, air conditioning was nice but did make the room have condensation problems underneath the pump on the ceiling (hence reason for 4 star review), didn't cause any problems for us though. Enjoyed our stay here, would stay again
Just returned from a last minuet trip to Bali, stayed for 5 days. Hotel was very clean, great location, breakfast was good, free shuttle to the beach, also walking distance to another beach. Walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, scooter hire, bike hire. less than half hour to the airport, check in and out was quick, I have no complaints. The staff at this hotel are great, so friendly and welcoming, warm and can not do enough for you, they really made this trip special. Thank you Mercure Bali for having us, we loved meeting you all and would definatly recommend this hotel 😁
I stayes there on may 1-5, 2018 together with my friend. Bad experince -seriously very bad which make us will not go back to this hotel anymore. 1. We booked via travel agent and it is written clearly we requested twin bed but they said agent requested double bed although the print out wrote clearly it is twin bed 2. At the room, no toothbrush, we need to ask it 3. For 2 days, our used glass still there with our coffee and tea, they didnt clean it up 4. They didnt refill the coffee bar 5. And the most worst part is we left the barh towel at the floor which it means we requested to change it. When we used a “clean” towel, we smell unclean towel but we didnt put a doubt. In the morning we left it again on the floor cause the smell and it means we want the new towel. At night we found out that they didnt change it cause my friends’ left over make up still at the towel! It means they didnt change it for 2 days although we put it on the floor. It is disgusting. 6. Food for breakfast is also bad as the noodle was stale. We informed this already to the staff. Other food taste is also so-so With many list above, how can u expect people will go back to your hotel?
My fiancé and I stayed here for two nights at the end of our two week trip to Bali. The reason we chose here was to have two nights of a well know hotel name to finish our stay. The hotel is aging with our room having visible water damage on two of the walls, painted over but still coming through. The rooms was okay but not to the standard you would expect elsewhere but at least the bed was comfy! A request for a drying rack was not possible, a thing which we would say is quite basic and no other solution to help us. A bit of a shame as throughout Bali the customer service and helpful nature of the people was not reflected here. The pool had a new platform being built so was quite noisy when trying to relax by the pool but understand these things need to be done. The food was pretty average which breakfast being the most limited out of all the places we stayed it was very much catered for Chinese guests more than any others. Overall the feel was very ‘resorty’ which was a big contrast from everywhere else. If you want to feel like your in a resort and don’t have to leave your hotel it’s a great plan. Not an authentic Balinese experience.
I read all the comments about this hotel and honestly felt so doubtful that my stay at this hotel will satisfying. Fortunately, our stay was great. We got room 144 with garden view, which was great. My son was very happy exploring the room and garden. We could relax at the terrace if we lucky we won't smell cigarette smoke. But we notice one thing that the terrace door can only be locked from inside so there is no way we leave the room from the terrace. The room not big but enough for the three of us. The basin was ok but some guests didn't like the design (outside the toilet). We were okay about that. When we entered the room, they left the room with lights up and the aircon was on. So we didn't experience the humid thing. The aircon was central but they have thermostate so we can control the temperature. My husband found out that the shower floor was so slippery especially for our 2 yo. So be careful. Also, the hotel only give 1 tooth brush, even though they know that the room is for 2 person (we decided not ask for more toothbrush because we bring spare tb). This hotel have bad walls because we can hear everything from the corridor and next room which is very annoying. If you are a light sleeper then this hotel isn't for you. This hotel have a private beach but you have to go there by golfcar shuttle. We asked the restaurant staff about the shuttle and they informed us that the shuttle leave every 15 minutes. We go to the lobby, wait for 10 minutes, then asked the security to find disappointment because the shuttle leave every 1 hour and we just missed it 15 minutes late. It was 5 pm and we decided to bring car to Mengiat Beach. I think the staff need more training to avoid false information. What we like about the hotel is the pool especially the kids pool. They have mini slide for kids and my son loved it very much! There is also rabbit barn and we can feed the rabbits for 25 rupiahs (but the carrot at the restaurant). The Soka Restaurant is located near the pool so you can have dinner by the pool. The ambience was great and romantic for couple. Unfortunately the indoor area only available for breakfast but I didn't recommend this are either because it was very humid in the morning. Better choose the outdoor area so you can breath fresh air. Overall I was satisfied with this hotel but expect more to 4starshotel. They should improve their facilities to bring more comfort to their guests.
Thank you very much for restaurant staff, for the surprise. And egg corner attendant, very good!!! Special for mr ngurah arya, thank you for the fitnes tutorial. Pool for kids good,,with green surrounding.
The hotel is barely a 3 stars. The room is too humid and the floor keeps on getting wet, regardless the airconditioning on. The staff is nice but not always competent. Forgetting several times to bring towels to the room.
