Booked two Level Junior Suites for two nights on the new year eve for I and my wife and two teenage daughters. One suite for my daughters was perfectly fine, but not ours. Our suite had several issues such aircon problem, water pressure wasn't strong enough and no coffee machine. I don't think it was a good idea to put guests in that room especially ones who is looking for Level Experience. After several phone call and repairing could not solve aircon problem. we decided to upgrade to Romance Suite. Luckily our suite issue was handled nicely by Miss Dewa Ayu and we weren't not only had our upgrade suite but also free of upgrade charge. That's the way how a good resort solve some issues due to their own mistake, not with any kind of excuses. That's how to distinguish whether this a good resort or not. Overall, this resort is still amazing even though built in decade ago. Huge beautiful garden is well maintained, the staffs in the Level Lounge, Sorento Restaurant and Level pool were extremely friendly and attentive. Great Resort !!!

We had our family holiday in Melia Bali in Nusa Dua with our family of 5 and really enjoyed it. We booked two rooms, one for mum and dad and one for our 3 teenage children. The room for the children was set up with 2 single beds with an additional roll away bed which was just fine. We opted for the all-in formula which is an excellent thing to do. Specialliy for the kids it was easy as they could other a drink or a bite whenever they felt like and we did not have to think about the cost as every thing was already included. There are some premium items (mainly imported alcohol, lobster and seafood) which are not included in the all-in, but all this is clearly indicated on the menus. The all-in gives you the choice between the 4 different restaurants on site for dinner, so there is ample choice. Another great thing about the hotel is the fruit bar nearby the pool. They prepare excellent mocktails and cocktails, but you can also get some fresh fruits from the bar. A great idea. There are activities (sports and cultural) planned throughout the day and these give a good variety to keep you busy. For the smaller kids there is also a kids club and every night at 6:30 there is fire lit at the beach to melt some marshmallows. All in all a very good hotel. The only down side was that the service in the restaurants is sometimes slow, so best to be prepared for that.

Second time staying in Melia Nusa Dua Bali and we are still impressed. As a matter of fact, it's getting better with continuous upkeep and improvements around the property including luscious garden and beautiful white sandy beach. We booked the family room and glad we did. It was spacious and ideal for a family with young children. Good value also. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was spotless. Check in/ out process was a breeze and staff members were always helpful and courteous. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of varieties to choose from, including fresh tropical fruits. Free wifi was available, strong signal throughout the hotel even in the pool area, which was great. Had a massage at the Yhi Spa and must I say it was heavenly. Everything was well looked after giving you the tranquil feeling. Guests who book massage can also use the steam room and jacuzzi. There were a number of daily activities too for the young and the young at heart :) sure keeping us busy and entertained. Once again we truly enjoyed our stay in Melia and will certainly return on our next trip to Bali.

Overall, it was a pleasurable experience. We check-in on the 30th Dec and left on the 4th Jan. We booked the all-inclusive package. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Food was great. It has 5 restaurants to choose from. Would recommend visiting the Sateria restaurant which is by the beach. The rooms were clean and so were the resorts other facilities. The grounds of the resort were immaculately kept tidy. The only negative I can say about the resort is the air-conditioning in the room is not the best so does the Al Patio restaurant. It can get very uncomfortable. Although the thermostat says temperature can be set quite low but in fact it can't. So, the room can get a bit stuffy.

I had the best times in melia, friendly staff, love the pool by the room and last but not least the beautiful sandy beach facing the majestic Mount Agung. I will certainly bring my family back to Melia.

Beautiful huge hotel on the waterfront of nusa dua. Walking distance to bali collection or $5 taxi ride from hotel to markets up the road. Huge pool with daily activities...however the only downsize was pool access closed ast 7pm. Brekky Buffet great variety and fresh. Wonderful service, everyone happy to help and very clean hotel. You can hire a car and driver for up to 10hrs for around $50. You will pay tourist prices for dining at the hotel...so if you want something cheaper head out to the street markets...some great restaurants and a little cheaper and still some great food and hire a scooter for around $10 p/day to just scoot around Nusa Dua. Make sure you have IDP (International Drivers Permit) for travel insurance purposes...you can get from RACQ $39 in Australia. Uluwatu Temple and dance sunset trip is great...but better to take your own car and driver if you just want to enjoy the scenery rather than a tour...as your rushed. Melia Resort has all that you need if you just want to stsy at the hotel or if your wanting to explore. Cater well and Safe for children and family holidays in luxury.

Absolute nightmare to check in. Kept getting asked repeatedly the same questions. Pedantic. No idea about customer experience. The manager was particularly difficult.Great location but plenty of other hotels nearby which are a much better option. Food at beach front restaurant was indedible. Room and amenities were fine but the check in nightmare ruined our stay.

This is our second stay at the Melia. From the moment you arrive you feel very welcome . All the staff are friendly , eager to help , and their smiles are infectious .Both the beach and pool areas are generous with beach chairs. We had lovely meals both by the water and in the 24 hour restaurant . The buffet breakfast is a delight . The location lends itself to both the Bali Collection , and the Nusa Dua main gates where you will also experience spectacular dining . In all there won’t be a need to consider a change of venue on our next trip . I’m very much looking forward to our 3rd visit and hope to accommodate some of the LEVEL experience . Whilst we had a beautiful balcony room , the lagoon suites definitely caught my eye . Thanks Melia Bali - it was great

This hotel is set in lush and beautiful landscape gardens. The beachfront area was perfect - plenty of sun loungers under shade, soft white sand and still ocean water. The pool was adequate, though not particularly big. The hotel is old and the fixtures and fittings are looking tired - especially in the rooms - though they've tried hard to gloss it up. Lovely and friendly staff as you'd expect. The breakfast buffet, though vast, was of not good quality. Food was generally tasteless and we had no ripe fruit in our 6 days here (though you could get it from vendors and restaurants outside the hotel). As a family of 5, we look forward to our breakfast buffets which are generally excellent in 5 star hotels in Asia - this was such a disappointment. The pre-check in experience with customer service and with Melia Rewards team was atrocious. Service level was appalling for a 5 star brand - uncommunicative, incorrect facts, technical glitches etc.

The staff at Melia Bali went over and beyond to help me send a package I left behind at the hotel to me at the airport. I contacted Ara Jo, the quality manager and she made all the arrangements with her staff to send it to me quickly as I had only an hour before my flight departure. I would like to extend my utmost appreciation not only to Ara Jo but to the very honest Housekeeper, Yunidi who found my package. I would like to thank Ari too for keeping me closely informed throughout the time I was waiting for my package at the airport. She took time off her busy schedule to text me to let me know the whereabouts of the driver. I want to thank Putu the driver too for efficiently delivering the package to me on time before my flight. Thank you Melia Bali for a great stay, I truly enjoyed your hotel and the service from your wonderful staff. I will be back!
