I stayed in Bali for over a month and stayed as seven hotels in total. This was by far my favorite. Ida Hotel is located very close to all the things in Kuta Beach that a traveler would want. Discovery shopping center, Waterbom Bali, the beach fronts and plenty of eateries and boutiques. I booked a bungalow and was absolutely thrilled with it. It was spacious with a great shower, lots of storage space and a very comfortable bed. The AC worked really well, and the light fixtures invited a romantic mood. The room service menu is extensive and was delivered in a very timely manner. The resteraunt offers a great breakfast buffet and all day meal and drink specials. The highlight of the property is the pool, which is a gorgeous design of overflowing water filtering into the kiddie pool before plunging to the ground. In addition, the jacuzzi slides right into the pool and the powerful jets feel great on sore muscles after a long day out adventuring. To top it all off, the staff from top to bottom is friendly, polite and enthusiastic to share travel tips about their beautiful home.

We stayed for 8 Nights in this nice and cosy Place. Nice staff, good but small breakfast. Its quiet silent, good pool and very cheap spa offerings. You should take a hairdryer with you 😅 this place is very central... beach and nightlife is nearby! We would come again!

Ida Hotel is an experience in itself. It is located in the heart of Kuta, about 100 meters from one of the main streets. But inside the hotel environs you wouldn’t know you are in a busy town, let alone in a beach town. It may seem illogical to hire a room so isolated from the coast, with so many hotels and resorts overlooking the beach, but that is the beauty of it. I can’t say enough about the garden, sculptures and architecture. It is a piece of Balinese art. Now, about the stay. On the positive side: It is very quiet to spend the day around the pool and to sleep at night. We stayed in the modern part, not in the bungalows. Rooms, balcony and bathroom were spacious. Handy laundry rack on the balcony. Fridge and water available. Hairdryer can be loaned from reception. Breakfast was ok, with omelets and crepes cooked in front of you. You help yourself to hot beverages, fruit, pastry, and some hot options. All in a nice environment. The place works as a bar/restaurant later. Very helpful staff, both at breakfast and reception. They can arrange for taxi pick up and change money as well. There are books on loan. On the negative side: air conditioner wasn’t too powerful. NO HAND TOWELS! Bed linen and cleanliness in general could be improved (doors are not hermetic).

Spent three days at the Ida which is our Bali home. Once again we were treated like family by the staff. Our room was extramly clean as are the hotel grounds. We ate all meals at the ida as the food is cheap and tastes fantastic. Its also great to see all the regular guest who return to the ida every new year. I could not fault the hotel and I highly recommend it

Just a few minutes from Kuta and this is still a little paradise. Nice, green, quite and pleasant atmosphere with a good price, what more do you want. And now TripAdvisor wants another 50 letters, why ?

The quietness of this hotel is fantastic seeing as though it is a 5min walk from Kuta Square.Basic accommodation with a small restaurant and cute pool .There a some traditional old style Bali bungalows and a new block with superior rooms ,At a 3 star rating it is good value for money.

My room was clean which was the main thing. The two things I did not like about this hotel are that they do not have a safe in your room. They have a locked box in reception, which means you must remove the contents of your locked box in a public place. Secondly the shower was terrible. The holes in the shower rose were mostly clogged and combine that with the poor water pressure and I never felt clean. I was in room 218 on the top floor so not sure if the water pressure is any better on the lower floors. I only ate breakfast at the hotel. It was very basic but suitable. Choice of omelette, fried poached or scramble eggs but no cheese. Toast and either noodles or fried rice and some vegetables. Pancakes were also on offer. They have an espresso machine but the staff do not know how to make espresso coffee. It is an extra charge for the espresso coffee is not worth it. Just stick to the Bali Coffee and if you want an espresso get one at a proper coffee shop which there are a couple of Gloria Jeans nearby which make reasonable coffee. They have a pool which looked ok but I dont go in swimming pools so I cannot rate it The other disappointing thing was that there was not a kettle or tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Reception supplied me with a kettle upon request. As much as I try to embrace local culture while in indonesia I still enjoy a cup of tea. The fridge was not operational but was fixed quickly on request. Airport transfers available on request at additional charge. Staff friendly and helpful thought it was overpriced for what you got

Cheaper, clean and with good staff. Quiet place. Have pool and massage rooms. Restaurant. Good breakfast. Diferent options in rooms. At the center of Kuta, close to legion street. Is not modern, but very comfortable.

Pros: -price. -friendly staff and attentive -location. -breakfast is good even if not plentiful. -rooms are ok. -pool amazing. -ambience is very Balinese. -boxed breakfast if you leave before 7am. -they call taxi for you since main road is 2 min walk away. Cons: -smelly drainage. -stinky bed throw pillow (blong rown one-they never wash this) -water heater difficult to adjust temperature. REALLY. -leaks on some plumbings in the bathroom.

I spent several days in Nov. 2016 in this charming place. Old style bungalows in beautifully maintained garden with a nice pool. Two turns on backstreets away from the busy main road which brings down to the beach in 7 minutes walking time. Good and rich breakfast, good dinner and cool drinks. Airconditioner in all rooms. Absolutely honest staff: I got returned a money burse with 150$ which was founded by the cleaning service with no note missing, even before I myself wad aware of the loss. THIS HOTEL earns my full 5 stars...
