We are almost at the end of our stay here at FuramaXclusive 13 nights. We couldn't fault this hotel friendly staff, clean rooms, great food, beautiful gardens stunning!! The staff are so beautiful remembering your names so when you walk past it's always hello madam Lysa hello Nathan and always at helping hand for all needs. The lady's in reception were very helpful when we needed a taxi, roomed cleaned, laundry washed. Some work needs to be done to bring it up to sparkling clean but other then that's it's a perfect stay for what you pay for. Other thing is the massage spa here is amazing do try if staying !!
After reading many poor reviews about the building being run down & poor service & generally not happy people - we were a bit hesitant. Though with an Expedia special of less then $100 a night we thought why not? Let's be realistic, whether you're in Australia, America, Bali etc - you pay for what you get. You want a brand new hotel that has no wear & tear? You'll pay for it! Yes it has its bits & pieces of being aged, though for one its OPPOSITE (2metres) to the beach. Any building near the ocean is going to suffer some form of damage. Now that I've said my piece to all the negative nelly's & Nancy's out there... The room was stayed in was perfect, a 1 bedroom studio. Room 302. If you're just a couple, that room is perfect. It's on level 3, close to the pool without hearing any noise & has amazing view of the ocean & sunset! The staff were beyond friendly & helpful. We asked for a bike, in less then 5 minutes it would arrive (prices 70.000 p/day - yes I know we could get it cheaper on the streets but bartering day 1 on holidays wasn't on my wish list). Food? We didn't eat dinner at the hotel, though we had some jumbo chicken satay skewers by the pool. They were unreal. The best we've had in Bali! Breakfast... we spent the first 4 days eating at cafes & after exercising with my 110kg fiancé we would spend around $45 AUD just on breakfast (at the really cheap cafes - him eating 2-3 meals!) & would leave not even feeling full. We tried the buffet at the hotel & said why didn't we damn eat here every morning! An awesome selection of food, along with on the spot omelette cooking! Fantastic. All in all - these guys deserve some positive reviews. Food is great, service was exceptional and location was perfect! All those tight purses - how about being a little realistic? We were more then happy, but we set our expectations before we arrived at a reasonable level!
Stayed here for four nights and found the staff very pleasant and helpful. The Hotel is positioned opposite the beach and close to many clubs and beach bars. Noise was never a problem, couldn't hear any from our room. Pool was interesting with glass walls on one side which you will see when entering the property. The grounds were kept spotless. The only neg I have is that some of the room fixtures were faulty, but they were minor issues which didn't affect our stay.
Well what can I say other than another great stay at this hotel in February. We have been staying here for the past 6 years and we can't fault the staff and the facilities at this hotel. The staff have become our family & friends and our second home during this time. We always book direct and nothing is a hassle for the staff to help us with. On our last two visits we have had a free upgrade to the Penthouse, spacious and quiet on the top floor with amazing views from our verandah. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a great holiday in paradise. We look forward to returning to the Furama before the year is out.
After doing research, looking at some top photos and with a 4 star rating, I thought I'd book this hotel for a 3 night stay. What a let down. This place is rundown and needs a good refurbishment..The reception area is hot, with no running fans and is easily mistaken for a rear exit. The pool is deep, looks green and uninviting, so we didn't take a chance going in. We both tripped umpteen times on the torn mat on the walk bridge. The room was smelly, bathroom was full of mold and the water out of the tap was dirty. They give you one key so when you go out, the air con. stops and room gets hot. Had to check out in the morning. Would not recommend to anyone.
So it was our first time travelling to bali and I had been constantly watching reviews of the property and to be honest was quite nervous as it was very hit and miss. We were travelling as a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 6,4 and 1) and also staying here were my sister and her family. We actually booked 2 bedroom apartments together and after reading reviews I emailed the hotel the week before to ask about getting 2 bathrooms and possible views. My sister never did and coincidence or not our rooms were very different. Still both nice in their own rights but we were on level 4 in a two story apartment which was huuuge with 2 bathrooms and 3 balconies whilst my sister was in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment on the third level no balconies. So it pays to put in a request if you can. There was obviously maintenance issues throughout the place and we did have trouble with the lock on our door (my sister had issues as well) but they were always very swift in sending someone up to assist with any issues. Yes the showers have only a short panel of glass but it never 'flooded' through the bathroom, just usually a bit wet around the outside so we would request a new floor mat every day which they are happy to change the towels etc anyway. Yes there are a lot of glass windows but we had no issue with privacy nor did my sister as every window had a double blind on it one being a sun out blind. Housekeeping was always spot on and we had no issues. The pool was perfectly clean when we were there. Yes it does look a bit green but it is tiled with green tiles so maybe that can put people off. We seen them doing maintenance daily. The kids never had sore eyes and no one got sick from swimming. The staff were amazing. So friendly and they adore children. They honestly couldn't do enough to help you. They really do make this place. The food was always great and good prices we thought for a resort. The location was great. Lovely beach views from the restaurant and markets just around the corner. Would we stay there again - yes if the kids were older but we would try a different resort out as the playground was literally a toddler slide and see saw and the only other thing to do was the pool. The beach in front of the resort is not kid friendly in our eyes with the rubbish and litter around so we would stay either somewhere where the beaches were cleaner or there was a little more at the resort to do like kids club/bigger playground etc. No regrets though it was a great place with fabulous staff and we will definitely go back one day.
We have stayed here on previous trips to Bali and always make a point of staying here at some stage on each trip. This time it was near the end of our trip and after staying in substandard resorts prior so this was what was needed to feel relaxed. Upon check in we asked if it was possible to extend our stay and was told we would get a better price on their website which we did later. The first room we were taken to was not the room we booked so I went to reception and spoke to the manager who then showed us to another room which we excepted as it was like what we booked. A few days after settling in we went on line and tried to extend our stay but the price kept changing as it went from Aussie dollars to Indonesian Rupee after discussing this with the manager he told us he would do the extra week for the same price we had paid for the previous week and also gave us a 6pm check out as our flight was at 10.30pm. We could not ask for help and the rest of the staff could not be faulted. As I said we have stayed here many times now and a lot of the staff know us by name and we know their names and that makes it more personal for that I thank them and call them friends not staff.
Just back in Australia after a two week trip to Bali. Stayed here twice on our trip with two other mates. Our last three nights were in a three bedroom apartment which I booked through their own website. When we checked in we found out we had been upgraded to one of their two level penthouses which was huge. Location is right across from the beach and close to a myriad of cafes etc. The only thing that this place misses is a swim up bar which is nice in Bali hotels and very social. Price is excellent (we got our apartment for about $265 Aus per night) and we got a 6pm checkout for a extra $50. Highly recommend
In Feb a group of twelve of us stayed at Furama. Overall it was a fantastic experience, the location of the resort just off double six beach road meant we were away from the hustle and bustle of the streets in seminyak but still central enough to get around. We had a room on the ground floor in front of the pool it was a studio room however was enough room for us for a week. It was neat and tidy, could have been cleaner, also our airconditioner kept leaking water on us while we would sleep waking us through the night the staff did try to fix it twice but to no avail. The air conditioner and shower where the only downsides in the rooms. The shower has no glass or sectioned off area from the rest of the bathroom therefore after every shower our bathroom would be completely flooded. This was fairly frustrating and found us needing 2-4 bathmats each day. Other friends in our group had 1 bdrm apartments and 2 bedroom rooftop. The 1 bedroom is exactly the same as the studio only has one additional lounge room and Kitchenette ( not worth the extra money just stick to studio ) whilst the rooftop apartments where amazing they are certainly suited to a group or family and unecesary for a couple. Overall we had a great time and got amazing value for money spending $550 on the accommodation for 7 nights with breakfast! The staff were very pleasant and breakfast is amazing with an omelette bar and plenty of options. Their is also underground parking for your scooter!
So our boat to Gili T was cancelled and we needed urgent accommodation! Searching on trip advisor this baby came up! I was still unsure reading the reviews but for the price it was and previously having stayed at another Furama Group hotel we decided to give it a go! Best decision ever! We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment as the studios weren't available, it was luxury just as the studios next door were. Clean, functional, easy to access, tidy and friendly staff. A great place to stay.
